Review: I'm not sure about this book. It tried hard to be so many things; part farce and part romance. The main characters didn't stay true to what the author described them to be. At one point the heroine would be brave and bold. The next minute she would be trembling in fear. The same for the hero and the heroine's companion. Very frustrating.

Without articles A, An, The. I seem to have slipped up and accidentally omitted the word "articles" a couple of times in the requirements for titles with a certain number of words so it just said "without like A, An, The" (though it did specify "excluding articles" in the general guidelines for the alternate categories above the list). I apologise for the confusion. It should be fixed everywhere now.

Review: This was a fun and fast read. I found it to be interesting how the story that looked cut and dried on the outside ended up being a little more complicated than that. I also hope that Dietz makes another appearance later in the series. I like Kinsey's character - she's strong and independent, smart and likeable. Just another good installment in this series.

Book: Little Black Lies by Sandra Block
How it fits:Three word title
Pages: 329
Rating:Five stars
Date read: 9/20
Review: Great first novel in this series. The plot twisted around so many times, I gave up trying to figure out what the final solution was going to be about Zoe's mom as well as what significance Zoe's patient, Sophie, had in the unraveling of all the knots. Zoe is fighting a lot 'demons' in this novel, her own and the prisoners she works with as a resident psychiatrist. I could have done without the romantic side plot with Mike but that's a minor flaw really. I'm interested to see how this character progresses in the next book.

Review: This series just never gets old for me. I love the interactions between Peabody and Eve especially now that Peabody is a detective. Eve is finally starting to accept all the friends she worries about now. There is a serial killer taking the eyes of women in the city. Eve tried to get to him before he hurts more women.

Review : Sookie continues to grow on me. I'm not sure if she's smarter, but she has definitely learned to shut her mouth occasionally instead of just walking into every terrible situation that exists. Her romance with Quinn is fairly bland, but inoffensive. I wish we'd get more stories about Hotspot and Amelia and Bob and all the other things that are going on in the background. Still a good series overall.

Everybody, please do make sure to include ALL of these in your review posts:

★ Review posts MUST include the following: Book title, author, cover, how it qualifies for the spot you're on, date finished, rating, review (min. 3 sentences)

- If you're currently posting from the mobile app and can't include the book cover, you can add it later UNLESS you're using a cover colour or cover item alternate. In those cases, your completion post will NOT count without the correct cover.

I was lucky to have access via my grandmother to a bigger library than the one near where I lived and a mother willing to drive. My family joked that I singlehandedly was the reason that the interlibrary loan service started a monthly limit. I read them in middle school and hope you enjoy them.

This is only my opinion, but I would say 'go for it!'. It's better to have several people working towards that goal. There are better odds of someone earning that bonus point if more folks are working on it.

I am going to start two series and then claim whichever one I like better to try to read the whole series. They are both four books long.

Both are #1 in a series

Review: There aren't many Jane Austen fanfic about Emma's Jane Fairfax that I know of. Most fanfic is about Pride and Prejudice.
At the beginning of the book, Jane is informed that her unsatisfactory husband, Frank Churchill, has been murdered. We see Jane struggle to keep her home together and help with the investigation.
There seemed to be missing important deportment facts in the story. There were certain things that never would have happened. Society insisted that Jane, as a new widow, would never have behaved the way she did in the story.
Over all an enjoyable book, and a good beginning to a series.
