SOLVED. This book had Odin, and obsidian dagger, mild incest, shapeshifting, and more. There were people who were half animal, the main characters were brother and sister, and I think the word blood was in the title. [s]

I can't find this. It had a sequel that I can't remember the name of either. There was a girl in it who could turn into a cat. There was genetic modification as well. I can't remember for the life of me. Can someone help?
