This has been killing me for months. Blue isn't the main character - as far as I can remember there wasn't one, but for some reason she sticks in my head. She had a male best friend with anger issues or some such and they become attracted to one another.she reacts to this by deciding to find a boyfriend. She has intimacy issues because a guy forced herself onto her once. Her brother might be called Jason. She works at her family's Irish pub. She's a daddy's girl. She meets a guy called Christian and they play hopscotch outside a club.

There's another character called Tanya/Tania who is black and gorgeous. She went on a date with a guy she didn't like called Jackson. He had long blonde hair.

Gosh I'm not doing a very good job. It's definitely an American series. I think I read it in 2003/4/5 but in the library so it could be much older. I thought for ages that it was a Francine Pascal series but I can't find anything that fits. It's certainly in that mould. Any help is very much appreciated!
