SOLVED. Paranormal Romance Series with Elemental like Demons, Vampires, Shapeshifters with hair that could feel cold and blood in it, Shadow race that burns in light and each book was about a different couple. [s]

Years ago, like probably ten at this point lol, I read this series and cannot for the life of me remember either the name of the series, any of the books, or the author. So I have come here to see if anyone else read them and can PLEASE tell me the names ^_^
Here are some details I remember from it (Possible spoilers ahead!)(:
1 Paranormal
2 A group of shape shifters that had living hair, like blood in it and stuff and if it was bound up then they could not shift. Also they have 2 forms of shifting, full animal and 1/2 way between.
3 A race of elemental beings that called themselves demons but were not evil unless summoned and the summoning ritual humans used twisted them.
4 Vampires that were apathetic and could only find their mate in other races but for some reason long ago someone had made it like a taboo to drink blood from other races.
5 a group of people who were really dark and lived in shadows and could NOT live in the dark, like even the light from a light bulb would burn them.
6 the shadow ppl could enter a shadow world that mirrored ours n what happened there would happen here (like a store window breaking)

I also remember a couple characters...ish
Like one girl was a shifter into a dolphin and bird and so had 2 tone hair. one girl was 1/2 shadow ppl but was blonde n her mind was in shadow world while she was in a coma.

I'm pretty sure I know exactly which books you mean! There are a few interconnected series by Jacquelyn Frank, which contain some of the best books I've ever read. Here are my best guesses on the plots you described:

#1) The gargoyle shifters in the Bodywalkers series that starts with "Forbidden". Or it could be the wraiths from the last book called "Nightwalker" which is awesome! The bodywalkers are reincarnated ancient egyptian souls that can possess or merge with a human and share the same body. (It's voluntary and the human becomes nearly immortal) Keep in mind it's not as creepy as it sounds, it's actually a pretty cool symbiotic friendship between a very ancient and wise being sharing so many lifetimes of experiences with a chosen human whose soul calls to theirs.

#3) The elemental demons are a race of beings that have nothing to do with hell but rather they control the elements and the mind. Their soul mates are the druids. The first book is "Jacob" and it involves a really cool prophecy, a kickass heroine, and evil magic users that can summon and enslave some of the weaker demons.

#5 + 6) The race that lives in the darkness of a parallel dimension are the Shadowdwellers and they can astrally travel between our worlds but can't handle sunlight. The first book is "Ecstasy" and it's about a human who slips into the shadow realm for some reason while she's in a coma. She thinks she's alone and the entire world died because all the buildings are exactly the same as before, transportation still runs, and food in grocery stores magically replenishes itself except there's not a single person anywhere in this somewhat darker and ghostly version of our world. She doesn't realize that she was in a car accident and her body is in a coma. Until the warrior who is our hero finds her and brings her back to his people, who are fascinated by her.

The above are just the barest of details from some 20 books or more that I don't remember everything about, but enough.

So basically, all the interconnected books/series from Ms. Franks expanded World of the Nightwalkers are phenomenal!
