I'm only weighing in here, because I want to see this puzzle figured out.
From Microsoft Edge on a PC, if I follow the link cited by Kristina, I do not see the War>World War II MPG, only the four listed by Kristina. This is book 18143977, the same one cited by Didi3023.

Genres change, which is why we have a genre verification thread. Didi3023 will need to catch the genre on the main page and get it verified. Then, it doesn't matter if it goes away again, a mod has seen and verified that it was there.

Task 25.3, book A requires a book with a one or two word title (ignoring subtitles). Walking to Listen: 4,000 Miles Across America, One Story at a Time has a 3 word title.

message 260: by Kristina Simon (new)

Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11204 comments Sophie - post 3284

If you look through our FAQs, you'll see that we've tried to standardize the way we view titles vs. subtitles vs. series titles in the SRC. We always use the words in front of the first colon as the title of the book. Whatever comes after the colon, we consider the subtitle. That makes the first letter of each word in the title for SPQR VII: The Tribune's Curse SV instead of TTC.

Sorry about that. I thought I made a post about this, but I don't see it in the thread.

The problem task is 50.1 in post 3236. In the FAQs, #7: "The general default rule is that books by a single author must be used. This can be varied by the task creator." The default rule kicks in after the task descriptions become fixed (around the 12th of the month that the Challenge begins). Since there is no allowance in the task description for 50.1, step 2 that allows for muli-authored books to be used, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch won't work because it is written by two authors.

Here are the tasks I have marked down for you (up to post 3620):
5.1, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9 = 8x5 = 40
10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10 = 10x10 = 100
15.1, 15.3, 15.4, 15.5, 15.6, 15.7, 15.8, 15.9 = 8x15 = 120
20.1, 20.2, 20.3, 20.4, 20.5, 20.6, 20.7, 20.8, 20.9, 20.10 = 10x20 = 200
25.1, 25.3, 25.4, 25.5, 25.6, 25.7, 25.9, 25.10 = 8x25 = 200
