I will be visiting my in-laws during the Readathon but I will try and read at least one horror story, I've just made a Collection on my Kindle and found some freebies I had gotten at some point. ;) Here's the list:
100 Days in Deadland
Beckoning Souls
Blood Memory: Season One, Episode One
Spring
Little Terrors
The Picture Frame: A Horror Novel
Riser
Where Darkness Dwells
Roadside Ghosts: A Collection of Horror and Dark Fantasy
Modern Mythmakers: 35 Interviews with Horror & Science Fiction Writers and Filmmakers
My planned Reading List for both the 48-Hour and the Labor Day are here:http://thehauntedreadingroom.blogspot...
Books Read:
The Case of Jennie Brice

I've narrowed down my weekend reading to these:Blood Memory: Season One, Episode One
Little Terrors
Roadside Ghosts: A Collection of Horror and Dark Fantasy
Beckoning Souls
About 500 pages total. Haven't started any yet but I will soon!
I decided this would be the perfect event to finally read the Wayward Pines trilogy:Pines
Wayward
The Last Town
Halfway through Blood Memory: Season One, Episode One. Started it yesterday. The writing is pretty good but nothing is really happening and it's only a 110-page book! lol.
I finished Blood Memory: Season One, Episode One. It was okay and ended in a cliffhanger but I'm not interested enough to pay for book #2. lol. I started Little Terrors but I'm not feeling the best so I'm watching TV instead. lol
I think I’m abandoning the Wayward Pines trilogy for now. I’m not feeling it. Instead I’m reading Ghost Summer: Stories and Skin Folk and Into the Drowning Deep and Bødy. These are books that did not get chosen in a book group vote but I’ve already read the book that won so I’m going off script.
The 48 Hour readathon is over, but more fun to come! Wrap up post is here: https://seasonsreading.blogspot.com/2...
