What are we thinking so far? How does the start of the book feel?

This is a cracking little book and another great selection.The third I have read in the group after Oh Honey and Freaks I've met. Have this penciled in for my 15 year old son.

Awesome! I can't wait to start reading it! (I'm a bit behind on my reading list right now, but now I have motivation to finish up my current read.)
Finally got a chance to start this today and I am already 36% in. It's delightful. Fast paced and funny!It feels so much like a Fantasy version of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. The prose is very similar as is the LGBT theme. But there are pixies and mermaids and trolls!
