Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Option 2
Key date: 11 April 2018

I'm sure you would have all used the correct date anyway!

message 156: by Missy (new)

Missy (missy_reading89) So if you pick option 2 you just have to read a book that one of your teammates marked as read on the 11th of April? Or that have to have read it before that date?

message 157: by Chan (new)

Chan | 5093 comments Option 2: Select a book from the 'READ' list of a team-mate that they read in the last 6 months AND that the team-mate rated at least 3 stars. (This essentially passing on a recommendation.)
If the book is in a series but does not match where you are up to, you may read another book from that same series.

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Week 9

Option 1
1. Read a book set in the UK.
Please note the country setting in your selection post.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, simply called the United Kingdom or UK, is a sovereign state in Northern Europe. It is a constitutional monarchy that is made up of four separate countries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Option 2

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments MountainKat wrote: "Jane, does this book qualify? Some reviews say set in Ireland, but do not specify Northern Ireland. It is fantasy, so maybe that's why?

Hi Kat

I just googled the 'Ireland' v 'Northern Ireland':
Ireland – or the Republic of Ireland as it is officially named – is now a completely separate country and has no longer any formal bond to the UK. Northern Ireland, on the other hand, is still a part of the UK (the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland), together with England, Scotland and Wales.

It needs to specify Northern Ireland since 'Ireland' seems to be the generic reference to the Republic of Ireland.

Sorry.

Happy to accept reviewer's comments if they get that 'Northern' in front of it :D

Yep - if it was built out of wood, stone or equivalent and can house something, its a building.
