Yes, you can read any of the three books first, but you can only be two books behind by the next call. That means you need to be done with that book by tomorrow at 6 pm EDT.
You can do it Slytherpuff!

Thanks. I'm definitely going to have it done. I'm trying to convert the time zones from EST to EDT

"the US has daylight savings from March 11 to November 4 this year", so it's still daylight savings time until Nov 4 here in NY :)

Can an anthology be a book of short stories? Could I use a combined set of three novels? Does it have to be started after the call?

message 112: by Fran, Moderator (last edited Oct 05, 2018 04:56AM) (new)

Fran | 12278 comments It can be started now. You can’t have started it before the call. I will check with the other Mods and get a consensus on your other questions :)

I’m thinking it may have to be tagged ‘anthology’ but I will get back to you with a final answer later today :)

message 113: by Fran, Moderator (new)

Fran | 12278 comments A combined set of three novels is a no. If the book of short stories contains more than one author that might work. Will let you know.

message 114: by SandyL (new)

SandyL | 584 comments For the two authors, you mention Ilona Andrews. Can it also be a book written by two authors who are listed separately (like Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward or Sabina Bowen and Tanya Eby?)

Thanks!

message 115: by MyzanM (new)

MyzanM | 317 comments There are only 20 books on this list, but the books should have 2 or more authors.

Might provide some ideas...

- It doesn’t need to be tagged 'anthology' as long as it is more than one unique story compiled into one book, and over the 100 page minimum.
- Whether it's full length novels or short stories or something in between doesn’t matter, as long as they're compiled into a single book under a single title.
- The anthology doesn't need to have more than one author

Sorry for all the questions. My copy of A Moveable Feast calls it a set of short stories. Would that work even if its a memoir?

I’m sorry Slytherpuff, that book won’t work. It’s not a compilation of stories/works, but one book with anecdotes, musings, etc.

I will say Yes, it works. It’s actually shelved as anthology-short stories by someone, and the description on the book’s main page works. Enjoy!

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Week 6

Option 1
5. On your full TBR ~ your 'want to read'/'to read' list, not a cut down list ~ do the following steps:
* sort your books by 'date added' with the oldest showing at the top of the page
* at the bottom of the screen set the list to 100 books per page
* select a book in the first 100 results
* note the date when the book was added to your TBR

Option 2
Key date: 11 April 2018

Please ensure you follow the format shown in msg 3 of your team threads. when you post your selection and completion posts.
