Hello all! Starting up the monthly discussions for September 2018 book-of-the-month suggestions. This discussion is for the category called BOOKSHELF CATCH-UP.

For this category, you can nominate any book that the group has previously read. For a list of books that the group has previously read and discussed, please see the bookshelf.

Books featured as a group read within the last twelve months are not eligible.

Unfortunately the Handmaid's Tale was the catch-up read in Dec. 2017, I thought I remembered it from when I first joined the group. I discovered a nice feature on the group bookshelf- at the very end of the line for each book, you can click "View Activity" and it shows dates the book was read by the group.

I second Alice as well. Currently reading Sheridan Smith's amazing narration with constant breaks to read annotations.

If it's nominated I might be able to finsih it by the end of Spetember!

It's one of few books that can be read slow.

Karen. Some may have caught up with it, but it hasn’t been an official read in more than a year so it qualifies.
