Thank you Jeanette. I believe your criticism is fair. Would it be possible to remove the spoilers about the ending though? I'm not sure where you got the 10,000 conflict bit, perhaps it wasn't clear enough. We can talk via PM if you wish.

On a side note, my friend and I are almost done with the revisions. The problem is, it will be mid December before everything is all edited. Perhaps the new year. We've been cutting like crazy and reworking some scenes. I was going to try and release the revised version of the first edition, but a lot has been cut or slightly changed, and I feel that is Second Edition material. Plus, I still need the beta reading and editing.

Sorry re spoiler - I had it bracketted but the got the HTML wrong (put an rather than (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] Fixed it now. Re 10,000 my memory is of one of the Jaari justifying their actions because of something that happened 10,000 (or maybe 1000?) years ago, but maybe I'm mistaken.

There were a few typos etc too. which I'm sure can be easily corrected.

Reading is always a personal thing. All the best with the new edition.
