Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2335 comments Hi Stephanie. Congratulations on becoming a Librarian!

A lot of us start with cleaning up our own records - looking on our stats page, seeing if any books we shelved don't have the original title & date of publication entered, page numbering missing, stuff like that.

When you are ready to move on, the Harlequin Mills & Boon project looks to be never ending & has lots of experienced librarians helping, so you would have good sources for advice.

Arenda | 26450 comments You can look here in the "Looking for a Project"-folder, but I agree with Carol starting with your own books is a good way to start as you are probably familiar with those.

Here is an older thread from this folder, that mentions all kinds of ongoing projects: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

This is not the place for this request, and probably shouldn't be handled by a new librarian. Please post in the Book Covers thread.

It gives you a variety of experience. Sort your books by title and you can find books where "sort by title" information is missing or in incorrect order. If the format of a title you have is missing series information you can now fix it. For me being a librarian turns frustration into satisfaction when I fix things. Bonus: For simple things I can listen to an audiobook while I do them.
