I wonder if it's worth writing up a combination of posts #17 and #19 from this thread into a sort of a "Here's a great and neverending project for new librarians" post:

Although you might want to find someone less verbose than me to do it (I'll do it if you think it's a good idea, and nobody volunteers, but I'm... wordy :)

Indeed, but notice how you used about 1/3 the words I did :)
Moved individual threads. It's not possible to move parts of threads, and any group member can start new threads in this folder (and should free to do so, if appropriate).

Here's an Onix import that amused me: The author profile is Sr Dr Floyd E McDowell. Following the ISBN to Amazon showed his name to be Dr. Floyd E. McDowell Sr.

This was in a larger thread about fixes: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I hadn't known about using the "add book/author" search function in the comment box to find oddities; that was a valuable tip.

ETA: Also, "A Romance Novel" yields a ton that have some variation of "A Romance Novel" as part of the title.

I think you could make a post for that. It seems exactly the kind of project this folder is about.

Great idea, I'll do that. One could spend years working on that alone.
General guideline: Threads that have not already been resolved and that are likely to take way more time/effort than most requests, and possibly work by multiple librarians. Also, let's keep ones that are series- or award-specific in those folders.
