Just completed my "M" book - The Murder House by James Patterson. Pretty standard murder mystery. A little long - editing out some of the extraneous pieces would have been helpful. Worth reading or listening to on a long car ride. 3 stars2/8
Update Message #38Challenge Completed: 3/3
Just completed my "R" - The Lying Game by Ruth Ware. I really enjoyed Ware's writing in this book! I remember liking her first book - it was a good debut - but her writing has really improved. The characters were interesting, and I liked them with all their complications. While there could have been a touch of editing some of the extraneous bits (like all the times she talked about the brightness of the sun), I really enjoyed the book overall. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars3/8
Megan, I really enjoy the fact that you post a mini review of the books you read in the challenges you do. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Just completed my "A" selection - Artemis by Andy Weir. I'm impressed. I loved Weir's first book, so I was worried about how he would follow up. He went a completely different direction but still centered around space and science. This was a successful caper book set on the moon. And while some of the technical science talk could have been edited a touch for my liking, everything else was good! And I liked his main character. And it was entertaining! Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars4/8

You sure did! I love when I get books I can't put down, especially in a short challenge.

You should have no problem. I read it a while ago, and really liked it. As I recall, it's a pretty quick read! I hope you like it!
Update Message 244/4 books! Woohoo!
Finished O:
Msg #55 updated - one book left!
Just completed my selection for "P" - The Traitor Prince by C.J. Redwine. Most of my lack of enjoyment of this book has to do with this being one of my least favorite fairy tales. I hate the impostor scenario. Redwine's writing and characters were interesting and well-thought out. A bit of editing could have helped with some of the repetitiveness, but overall, a tight story. Worth reading. 3.5 stars5/8
