July 2018 BOTM - Results

The votes are in and the top vote getters were:

On the God of the Christians 4
The Life of St. Catherine of Sienna 4
Lift Up Your Heart 3
The Return of the Prodigal Son, Looking for the King, Toward the Gleam, Scarlet Pimpernel of the Vatican, Tales from the Brackenwood Ghost Club, and The Benedict Option each received 2 votes and the remaining books each received 1 vote.

Kerstin made a suggestion in the Atrium that seems to have been well received, so I am going to apply it this month. When we have a tie between two books we will read both books, one for the month we are voting for, and the other for the following month. The randomizer will be employed to select the order in which they are read.

So, the July 2018 BOTM will be Life of Saint Catharine of Sienna, by Raymond of Capua and the August 2018 BOTM will be On the God of the Christians:, by Rémi Brague. We will not have a vote in July.

Since every book received a vote, no other books will be dropped from the Nominations List. The two books replacing our selections are Quetzalcoatl's Zahir, by our own Manuel Alfonseca and The Autobiography of St. Anthony Mary Claret, by St. Anthony Mary Claret.
