It tells the story in Slightly Tempted."

What?! (lalalaalal...covering ears, or eyes as it were) I'm reading backwards. I guess it's time to get out book 3. I've been saving it trying to read some other thing son my TBR list.

I'll be away for a week and probably won't get any reading done. Darn it!

Missy | 1484 comments I have the audiobook and listened to it last August but found that it didn't live up to the hype. However, now that I'm re-listening to it for this BOTM, I'm discovering that it's not as disappointing as I had once thought it was. It's kind of odd that the ability to enjoy a book depends on the mood I'm in at the time.

@Shannon, I'm reading this series out of order as well. lol

Jan (jan130) | 2683 comments Missy I find that sometimes too - the amount of love I have for a book sometimes depends on my mood. Occasionally I've disliked a book, then reread later on and really changed my tune. Marrying Winterborne is one that springs to mind. I just didn't really get it or like it that much first time around but I've since reread it with a different, more mellow attitude and now really like it.

I did like this one (Slightly Dangerous) first time around though. It's an old fav of mine.

Uvi I am reading slightly scandalous now and, this is the second book in this series that I am finding the heroine a little off. Not likable. Bitter and jaded. I loved the heroes -Wulf and Joshua are great, but the heroines are just blah. I’m sure it’s just me, but idk it’s off putting. I really wanted to like them.

Phoebe | 38 comments wow i should have come here a WHLE ago haha!

did anyone else cry during slightly dangerous? even though Christine'a character ruined it for me, i was just so damn happy for wulf that i couldn't help but shed a few tears!

And kudos to Balogh. his "tortured hero explanation" monologue right before their last love scene was super original and without the extra melodramatic nonsense.

God i love wulf. ugh why can't he be real? pretty please? lol

Missy | 1484 comments Since I've only read one Bedwyn book (Slightly Wicked) before I began Slightly Dangerous, I was unable to truly appreciate Wulf's HEA. I'm sure that if I had read the books in order, I would have shed a few tears as well.

I cried. And for the record, I love Christine as well.

Melissa | 245 comments I definitely cried a few times. I loved Christine as well. I thought she was perfect for Wulf. He totally needed someone that “just doesn’t know how to behave”. When I read the scene in the library with Christine and her first husband’s family, I fell head over heels in love with Wulf. He’s is my favorite hero by far.

Lorien | 427 comments I fell for her when she stole his stupid quizzing glass, threw it and then used it on him in the ballroom.

I did not like Christine that much but I did love those two scenes.

Ummmm, that would be a yes! I did shed a few tears. I love it when a book gets to me. Those are the memorable ones.
