YA fantasy book about a girl that are send out by some people and meets a prince and becomes enemies with the masterthief/buisnessman like man from her town

Some time ago I read a book. I now want to reread it but I can't remember the title. I can remember a part of what happens in the book. Can someone please help me?

A girl tries to steal a thing (stone?) She then tries to sell it to the local thiefking (sort of). The thief rattles her out and she gets caught. The priests (I think.) Makes her compete in a competition where she needs to find and take something.

and there she meets a prince. The thiefking are also competing. She starts to like the prince and she is mad at the thief. It turns out the treasure is in a kind of trap. The mc gets the treasure and flees. The prince is actually pretty selfish and tries to steal it from her.

Thats all i can remember.
