The Renewable Virgin"Looks like a yellow background to me. Approved. Happy reading!
Pia wrote: "Hi, for Option 3, yellow on cover:

"Hi Pia,
Yes, those all look like different shades of yellow. Approved. Just make sure when you post that you specify what is yellow. Chemistry has yellow background, buried crimes approved for yellow letters in buried & the lost author approved for yellow letters in title and author.
Happy reading!
Zach wrote: "Want to check this book as I am not sure if others would also think it is yellow. Thanks!
"Hi Zach, I agree with you. The background is a few different shades of yellow. Approved.
Sounds like an awesome book. I think I may add the first one to my TBR list! Happy reading!
Nicola wrote: "Can i get the shirt in this approved for Opt 3 a yellow object?
"Hi Nicola,
I am a bit unsure about your book and thinking that it may be cream rather than yellow. Particularly because the picture is depicting a suffragette who typically wore cream shirts. I am heading off to work but when I get home I will chuck it into the colour checker to give you a firmer answer.
Thanks, Bianca
Nicola wrote: "Can i get the shirt in this approved for Opt 3 a yellow object?
"Hi Nicola,
I used the photoshop eyedropper to check the colour code of the shirt and the result indicates that it "contains mostly yellow colour" according to the website.
So
is approved. Please mention that it has been approved in the help thread. Happy reading. :)
Thanks Bianca. It looks a lemon yellow on the book in my possession but like you said it could have been cream. I'm not so good with distinguishing colours sometimes :) Glad photoshop agrees.
Hi Marie, yes I would say that the flowery stuff around the sides is definitely yellow. Happy reading!
Would this cover work for something yellow?
There is the outline of a palm tree in the lower right corner.

Hi Bea, yup this cover works. Definitely a yellow palm tree. Happy reading!
Diana wrote: "Hi, just want to verify that there is yellow in the lower right-hand corner."Hi Diana,
I don't think the cover was attached to your last post. I can't see any image. If you re-post then I'm happy to have a look at it.
Thanks! =)
Marie (UK) wrote: "will this work for yellow on cover
"Hi Marie,
Approved. People in the background are wearing yellow shirts. Happy reading. :)

Oops. Let me try that again

Shanna_redwind wrote: "Would you say the words are yellow? or are they too far on the orange side?
"Hi Shanna,
Sorry but it's too close to orange. I used the photoshop eyedropper and letters are definitely orange. Hope you can find somewhere else to use it! If your username has a U in it, you can use it for Option 4, otherwise you would need to find another task.
P.S. I love the book so hope you find somewhere else to place it! =)
Book Concierge wrote: "Please verify YELLOW LETTERS (also there's yellow in the "flames"? on the lake ...)
"Hi Book Concierge,
Book is approved for yellow letters. Photoshop eyedropper says they are a shade of light yellow. Happy reading!
Hi!Could you please approve this cover? Thank you.
Not sure if the sun/sun reflection is yellow enough on the sickle.

Hi Laure,
Cover is approved..."
Thank you! :)
I went to the library and looked through the stacks for a yellow book. I came upon a yellow book and brought it home to find out that only the back cover is yellow. Will this count or do I need to find a new book?? If I could post a picture here of the back of the cover I would... The book is called
Sarah wrote: "I went to the library and looked through the stacks for a yellow book. I came upon a yellow book and brought it home to find out that only the back cover is yellow. Will this count or do I need to ..."Hi Sarah,
If this is the front cover of the book, then that would work for the yellow requirement. My task only requires some item/ showing of yellow on the cover rather than a total percentage of the cover needing to be yellow. So this book has the yellow lamp at the top of the page which would make it suitable for the task.
Otherwise this book also fits with Option 2 as the author's initials N. T can be found in "the play that weNT wrong".
Happy reading! =)

Nicole wrote: "would the yellow letters work on this cover? Admittedly it's harder to see on line than in person.
"Hi Nicole,
I'm really sorry but on the computer screen it looks quite orange. Photoshop colour eye dropper is saying orange as well. So it will not work for this task. Hoping you will be able to find a spot for it somewhere else!
It’s no problem! I agree but thought I’d ask. When I was posting my completed tasks last night, I realized I had a grand total of 3 books that didn’t fit the tasks I had them slated for because I had misread a parameter. I placed 2 out of 3 into a different task!
I actually can keep this where it was but just have to find a longer book for the other task option (it said minimum of 600 pages for both total and I spaced).
Thanks for your time :)

Oh no, that's the worst. I hate when you only figure out a book doesn't work at the last minute. Glad you figured it out!
For option 3, would this be considered yellow letters?
There is also a yellow light in the background.
Molly wrote: "Can I use
? The hiking pole/mop stick she is carrying on the cover is yellow :)"Hi Molly,
Yes, this works for me. Happy reading!

There is also a yellow light in the background."Hi Jayme,
"James Patterson" looks like very light yellow and there are some tones of yellow in the opening to the tunnel background area. So yep, this works for me. Happy reading!
is this enough yellow:
by Shanna Swendsonher hair is yellow, the star is yellow and the frogs crown seems to have yellow in it.
Hi Stephanie. So sorry for late reply, I saw this while I was at work and then completely forgot to reply once I got home. Yes, there is yellow in the cover. Approved. I absolutely loved this book. Hope you do too. Cheers!
Would The Sacrifice by Robert Whitlow work for this challenge for Option 2? Just making sure I understand this correctly. Thanks.
Sarah wrote: "Would The Sacrifice by Robert Whitlow work for this challenge for Option 2? Just making sure I understand this correctly. Thanks."Hi Sarah,
Yup, Approved. There is yellow on the wall.
Happy reading! :)

One of my favourite things to do when we travel is to see a show, play or musical. I love the glitz, grandeur and witnessing raw talent on stage! This challenge is dedicated to these wonderful locations and my favourite shows.
This is a one book task. Pick any option.
Required: Indicate the option you chose.
Option 1: Melbourne, Australia
“Wicked” tells the life story of Alphaba (“Wicked Witch of the West” from the “Wizard of Oz”) from her point of view and the story becomes infinitely more complex!
For this task, read a book with a Main Page Genre of “Retellings”. The genre may be stand alone or embedded.
Option 2: London, United Kingdom
In London we got some discounted tickets to “The Play That Goes Wrong” on a whim and were very pleased.
For this task, read a book written by an author whose first and last initials can be found in THE PLAY THAT WENT WRONG. Letters may only be used as many times as they appear in the target phrase. Middle names/initials may be ignored. If there are multiple authors, ALL author's initials must fit.
Option 3: New York - United States of America
As lifelong Harry Potter fans, we went to see “Puffs”; the story of the plucky characters in Hufflepuff and their adventures during the Harry Potter books.
For this task, read a book with yellow on the cover. The book may have a yellow background or may have a single item that is identifiable yellow. REQUIRED: Include the cover in your post and point out the yellow object.
Examples:
Option 4: Travelling through literature
I love travelling but sometimes money can limit my ability to actually leave the country so I am trying to do this through my reading.
For this task choose a letter from your readerboard name and read a book set at least 50% in a country that begins with that letter. I will be using this List of Countries to determine the countries.
Examples: My readerboard name is WITCHYGAL. So I can read a book set in countries such as I = India, T= Tanzania, C= China etc.
My fictional friend’s readerboard name is UNCLEBUMBLE. They can read a book from U= United States of America, U= United Kingdom, E= Egypt.
Required: State the country.
