I believe it was just an honest mistake. Lots of excitement and mistakes/edits all through this thread.
It appears that Jen finished her book after Jenny had blocked her but before Natalie had saved her. But we could be interpreting that wrong.This happened to Gryffindor when I finished Hopeless Realm minutes after Natalie not realizing she'd beaten me, so we scrapped that chain and moved on to another one. I get that Jen likely didn't realize Jenny had knocked her out, but when you know a Beater is coming after you, the onus really is on you to keep track.

We'll have to let Jen or someone that was around say what happened for sure. I just saw that something our team did was being questioned and I wanted to try to help. I have been working all day. I deleted my post after I wrote it. I don't have anything else conducive to say here so I'm out.
