I really want to know who the ''friend'' is and also I'm sure there will be problems with Dante in Caraval, it really seems like he's building up to something (for Legend?)
Also I love that the perspective changed because now Scarlett isn't so annoying anymore (hide spoiler)]

But I actually think that caraval has already begun for Tella and the letter and the Heir was planned by Legend and/or Dante, I feel like thats just part of the game (bc as we learned from the first book EVERYTHING is JUST a game..... and things start to build up before the actual start of Caraval..)
Or maybe this theory is just what I hope for bc the Fiancée thing is scary :D

Well, I was wrong because now it's impossible to know whats real and whats not I CAN'T TAKE IT. Also what's wrong with Scarlett? She's definetly hiding something from Tella..
And I don't know why, I actually really love the Story so far, but I'm a little bit disappointed bc I feel like the magical atmosphere isn't there anymore like in the first book.. It's all colourful and not dark and mysterious (does that make sense??)..

Also I love that Paloma (or Paradise) is actually a criminal that really makes her Character so much more interesting.
Aaaand it also looks like the faiths really are real and Legend is really scared of them and only is 'hosting' this special Caraval for his own use (to kill the faiths) (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[sooooo... I loved legendary soooo much and I really loved Dante as well, but I don't like it that he is Legend. It should have been more unexpected and twisted I guess.. Still I can't express my love for this series and all the emotions because of it. Also The king of hearts!? He's so cool (I might have an obsession with villians). Did really Tella made his heart beat again?
And yes the first book is still so much on my mind that I still think there might be a possibility that some of this might be just a game.. I'm desperate sorry.

(view spoiler)[I like Tella's much more than Scarlett's PoV. I also feel way more engaged in this book than in Caraval. The mystery is way better, and it does feel more magical. Also learning some of the lore behind Caraval is super intriguing. I am so glad I gave this book a chance. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I am loving the this book way more than the first one. It feels way more unpredictable and twisty and turny. The world building in this novel is amazing. When Tella fought the Undead . Queen and her Handmaidens, I was actually stressed to the max. That was written very well imo. The dinner with Elantine was amazing, when she faked the coughing fit, I was like DAMNNN girl. I don't like associating him with Legend. It was better having them as different characters in my mind. I loved Dante and Tella's chemistry. This book was wayy better than Caraval. Absolutely! I think someone else in the wanted ads wanted to read it in November as well. But I definitely want to finish it up. I'm so glad you as well wanted more Scarlett! Even in Scarlett's book, Tella was pretty center of attention.

The Aracle thing is interesting, it reminds me almost a little of those 'butterfly effect' type stories so I'm really interested in seeing where it goes.

Tella's 'fiancee' is totally going to turn out be that dude she met on the carriage, I am willing to bet money on it. I feel like him and Dante must have some long-running feud over some girl or something, maybe Dante was in love that that former fiancee who got murdered? (hide spoiler)]

But she was the one who actually played with Scarlett, again, I know it was to be free of her father but I still don’t like her. She has this friend who does this deals, she thinks she can discover who Legend is and she thinks she’s playing with Dante. The internal logic of this series has always felt off to me and the magic system is kinda ??? so I've given up on all of that, going purely off entertainment value now :D (hide spoiler)]

I am 99% sure that their mother is not going to turn out to be 'evil' in the end, we're probably just missing some context and information about what happened there.
