Chapter 25

Dante may not be Legend but maybe a Fate? I think Legend isn't in the picture anymore and is more like a presence. Scarlett is obviously part of the show so that drama between her and Julian may be fake and everyone is messing around with Tella.

I really liked Tella, she isn't dumb as Scarlett but a lot stronger but everything she does at the end doesn't change anything. And I think Paloma is dead and the whole Legend crew is using her for the game with Tella like when they used Tella and Scarlett's fiancé for Scarlett's game. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 37
(view spoiler)[It seems like Dante is the Lost Heir and Elantine is really old not young like when they first met. I don't know why Jacks wants to be the heir so bad in this island and why he can't kill Elantine neither. Everything seems connected but at the same time isn't.

Scarlett is obviously a part of the game but I don't know her role at all and I'm surprised Julian hasn't appear in so many chapters, when he gave blood to Tella, it remind me when he also did it with Scarlett and if the blood is truly magical maybe both of them have Legend's magic or magic?

I don't care anymore who Legend is but I wanna know how Tella will resolved all this. Also, I still think Paloma/Paradise is dead and is all stage somehow, I don't buy the whole Paradise being a thief and bad mom picture, we really don't know her at all and every time someone talks about her is just fragments or flashbacks so there isn't any truth or prove there.

(view spoiler)[Okay so I knew Dante was Legend and the Lost Heir and I knew everything that Tella was going to do but this book was really good. I hated Caraval but this one keep me on the edge even when I knew at the end what would happen. I can't wait to read Finale and see what happens.

And Scarlett writing to her ex-fiancé... wtf? Are we really going with that again? I was so happy when she didn't show up in the whole book I just hope Finale isn't about her and more about Tella and Dante.

I don't have a lot to say about this ending because everything happened like I thought it would.

There are too many coincidences. He was the one that claimed Tella is engaged to Jacks and he somehow found the loophole for Paloma's ring. But I still like him as a character though.

Also, Tella's curse via Jacks was resolved so quickly. I figured that she would be his true love but I found that to be lacking a bit of nuance idk. But I feel that somehow Legend is involved because as soon as she drank Julian and Dante's blood, she was fine again?? So maaybe one of them is Legend lol

Omg haha I'm going all Nancy Drew on this, but I hope that I'm wrong because that would be such a predictable ending and I don't like predictable endings. (hide spoiler)]

The rumor is probably true though, and I’m guessing either her or Scarlett will turn out to be the lost heir, because it is a YA book is it not 🙄 I’m hoping Scarlett because I still hate Tella and I do NOT want her to be empress lmao. Or maybe it’s Legend, I would actually like that. Dante definitely is Legend; I mean the rose on his hand? It’s no secret that Legend likes roses? I still think Tella is crazy selfish, she wants Scarlett to use Julian while she’s obviously hurting like crazy. Argh I just really don’t like her. I know Scarlett now proposed it herself, but it was obvious that Tella wanted it. I hope Scarlett and Julian will be okay because I don’t care about Tella one bit. So a person can also willingly switch places with a Fate, fingers crossed for Tella getting stuck inside the card instead of their mother bye. At least she's now FINALLY realizing that the Aracle probably isn't good at all.

The Empress seems weird, she knows that Jacks is evil? A little bit confused. It was definitely obvious to me that Jacks just wants the throne so he could rule with the Fates again; it's quite funny to me that Tella is only now drawing those conclusions because I thought it was something that was already concluded lol. I'm still not really loving it, I just don't know why.

Since the ring apparently is a key to the Temple of Stars or something, was her mother the Fallen Star or something? I'm not really keeping my Fates straight at this point, there are so many who are vaguely mentioned and I honestly don't know one from the other. Okay something fishy is going on with Scarlett. I still kind of feel like she’s the missing heir, I’d rather it be her than Tella for sure. Ugh. I’m really missing Scarlett in this story, we’ve barely seen her. I hope the next story is from her POV again but I’m guessing not.

The missing heir has apparently returned, so I really think it’s Scarlett; she did talk to Jacks so maybe they were talking about that? He was telling her about her past or something? Wait no that makes no sense, he wants the throne so he wouldn’t tell her that she’s the missing heir. But I just feel like Paradise (by the way wtf is that name) ‘stole’ the missing heir for some reason. I just can’t stop the feeling that either Scarlett or Tella isn’t really her daughter. I might just be going crazy with my theories lol. I’m looking forward to finally seeing it end and getting some answers though. (hide spoiler)]

Wtf is she seriously mad at him now? He literally just released the Fates - which I hate btw, couldn’t he just have let her stay in the card - but she still isn’t happy? I hate this woman so much. He’s obviously only going away because the fates will come for him or some shit and he doesn’t want her to be in danger right. Or he has to go and finish his star deal, whatever that meant. I just cannot believe that someone as ancient as Legend is impressed by someone as dense as Tella ugh.

Huh the empress her heir is a man? That’s going to be Legend/Dante isn’t it. I still do think it’s either Tella or Scarlett - still hoping Scarlett because I hate Tella and she’s getting everything; a crazy powerful boyfriend (or at least she will probably) and I can’t handle her having the throne too. She’s way too impulsive for that. Jacks mentioned that Scarlett wanted him to find someone; maybe her fiancé? I do feel kind of bad for Jacks, not sure why.

Ah yes so she was indeed looking for the count. Okay so yeah Dante is the missing heir. Also, maybe it’s just me, but isn’t it crazy weird that Legend used to be in love with her grandmother and is now in love with tella?🥴 Anyway, I hope we’ll see more of Scarlett’s magic in the next book, and see more of her in general, because I’m sick of Tella’s bullshit. I don’t know, I’m just kind of disappointed with the whole Legend reveal. I really love Dante, so that isn’t the problem, it’s just that I don’t believe that someone like him would be impressed by someone like Tella. And Jacks too; I don’t get why they like her at all. I will still keep reading because I want to see how it all ends, but I’m not too excited. I hope there will at least be some surprises. (hide spoiler)]
