Haha no worries, Sarah did say she was going to message them again so I thought maybe one at least had come checked in with us or turned in reviews. I wonder now if getting someone else in would even work since they wouldn't have been reading towards our open categories all this time they may not have anything that we could even use.

That’s so true. I feel like we have a couple broad ones left but then a lot of the harder ones. But it seems like even just 3 or 4 books would make us competitive for second place at least!

Yeah, I'm amazed at how close we've kept it with only the four of us. I think someone said Washington has one member who has only done 1 book but still that means the other 5 have been active. On the other hand Jefferson is just insane, I think they had like 3 up there with my score.

It does seem to be a relatively quiet month for serious, usually every member is around at least and participating.

The last 3 months I've been the replacement player for whatever team had someone not posting but that was usually by the end of the first week. Signed up on time this month and we have two not posting, can't replace them myself when I'm already on the team. LOL

Trying to get us an easy big point boost... I was scanning the BR thread and saw someone had requested A Christmas Carol. The book is fairly short but plenty of high page count editions. Turned it in for a book before 1989 but if anyone else want to join and do it too it definitely would also word for an author named Charles or snow on the cover or maybe character with dark hair.

I’ve never read any kind of book like that ever, but I just happened to read that one in December of last year for some sort of criteria! I wish I wouldn’t have now

I think I remember it being free on kindle for anyone else that hasn’t read it

Just to update, I'm working on Hero of Ages, I Am Legend, The Secret Lives of Royals and The Crane Wife. I'm going to take out the books I have on the spreadsheet that I don't think I'll get to. I may also get round to A Christmas Carol as I read it quite a few years ago!

I presume that Sarah and Faith haven't got back in touch, so hopefully we'll get an update later today :)

Going to take out Faith and Sarah's books from the spreadsheet. Not sure if yours will fit those spots or not Tati but if not let us know and maybe we can move something around that's been read and turned in. I know a lot of mine could fit several places and I just tried to use them on what would seem the hardest.

Here's what I see, so far:

Traitor Angels would fit Arizona, main character's name begins with A (one of the MCs is named Antonio)
Naughty Boss would fit Delaware, first in a series

and I couldn't find a spot for:

You can take Mirage out, I haven't started it yet anyway and yours are done and Ashley said she has a couple before Lifelike so I think it'd be OK to use that spot too. Let me see what I can come up with for the others....

Skye has Hero of Ages under author with 10 books and it could be moved to series with 5 books in Indiana and then Children of Redemption could be put under Tennessee....

Part Time Lover can fit into New Jersey - Read a book with "Love" in the title.

Smoke in the Sun - does she have black hair or enough showing Sarah would count it as New Jersey Read a book which has a character with black hair on the cover.


Or possibly use it to move The Perfect Family from Missouri Read a book where the main characters name begins with "M" to New Hampshire Read a book which has something green on the cover.

Definitely use my lifelike spot if you need it! I still have to finish Queen of Shadows and Winter which are both super long. If you need my spot for Winter please use that too and I’ll use it on the second board. I think the audio is like 25 hours

It looks like we are going to be so close to the second board with all these new books! This is exciting

I think Smoke in the Sun is the only one without a spot now so whichever option you think is best for that one you move it. I'd probably go ahead and use the M character and have her bump mine since I'm not sure about the hair.

I believe the only ones I took out were mine and Ashley's there and then moved the one book of Skye's to a new category but everyone can check it over as they're on. :)

Yeah, there's definitely green on The Perfect Family so you can just ask her to switch that one when you turn in the reviews then they'll all have a spot. :)

I’m going to wait and read Winter next month because it’s like 900 pages and go through the spreadsheet when I get to work and see what we are still missing and find some shorter ones for those to hopefully finish this board. We are so close now!
