Leslie | 2430 comments I havent read Making Faces. 😕

I was afraid it would be too emotional. But since I made it through Full Tilt, I suppose I can handle it. It's available on hoopla so maybe I will add to my PFM list. For some reason, emotional books are easier when on audio.

Jean | 1658 comments I CAN'T BELIEVE RENEE, MELINDA AND LESLIE HAVE NOT READ MAKING FACES YET!!! YES, I'M SCREAMING BECAUSE IT IS A MUST READ NOW!!!!!!!!!

I've been MIA lately.....just so busy! *waves hello to all*

Ela | 4291 comments Not only that but Tessa has not read Mercy in Fearless!

message 104: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments By the way I am reading:

Prison Promise (Prison Saints #1) by Demi Vice

It's been a long time since I haven't had to skim the sex scenes.....this book, OMG!! Talk about HOT SEX!!! Also, the H is a character like nothing I've ever read.....I was a little skeptical in the beginning of the book because of the insta-attraction/sex, but glad I stuck with it! Some typos, but nothing so bad that it's pissing me off.....just a different kind of story with unique characters. I'll keep you all updated...I'm only at 50%.

message 105: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Who was it that picked Fearless for me......I was totally kicking myself for not reading it sooner!! Loved it! Tessa, you're up!!

message 116: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments Okay, finished Red Fox. I liked it, about a 4 star. It was predictable on the "who done it" perspective, but it was way better than the first one.

message 117: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments I started my book: Make Me Stay Make Me Stay (Panic, #2) by Sidney Halston and I am loving it so far! Woot woot! *fist pump*

Yeah Leslie! Did you read the first book of the series? I couldn't remember if you did.

*shooting off 2 glitter rockets* yay, Leslie... I did good???

message 128: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I'm curious about it too. It's in my 'next' lineup.

message 129: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments I have about 20 books in my "next" line up! LOL!

message 130: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Grey - yes, you did good! 👍🌟🥇

Jean - yes, I read and LOVED Pull Me Close

message 131: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments This will sound strange...but when I start these challenges at beginning of month, its so much easier and less stressful. If I wait til end of month, I get all anxious like my book nerd card will be revoked or something. Jeesh! Neurotic much?!

Anyway, I finished Make Me Stay Make Me Stay (Panic, #2) by Sidney Halston and it was really good. Not "quite" as good as first book, but very enjoyable. 4.25 **** 😁

message 134: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Finished The Pebble Jar! 5++++++++ Stars

If you guys haven't read it, do it!

Thank you Melinda! GREAT PICK!

message 135: by Bethany (new)

Bethany Lopez | 40 comments I'm not sure how I feel about Girl Crush. I'm having a hard time with the MC. She's very immature and flaky for a 39 year old. Pushing through, though. Almost done.

message 136: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments I know the feeling Bethany...I'm not feeling The Idea of You... the h is pissing me off...

message 137: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments The Idea of You = 2 stars THAT SHIT PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF!

message 138: by Grey (new)

Grey | 2385 comments Mod
Bethany, I completely agree. I proofed that one... and didn't connect at all with it. which was unfortunate.

Michele (guilliem) | 2131 comments Ela wrote: "The Idea of You = 2 stars THAT SHIT PISSED ME THE FUCK OFF!"
Dang Ela! I feel like I totally failed you! Sorry it was definitely a love it or hate it type book....

If it makes you feel any better, I'm stuck trying to muddle my way through Sweetbitter (because I'm too stubborn to DNF) and it's totally driving me NUTS!

No worries honey bunches! I'm glad it's off my TBR!

message 141: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Ok Ela... now I know to stay away from that one.

message 142: by Tessa (new)

Tessa | 1761 comments I was thinking the same thing Jean. The last time she went off like that, it was the C book, and I agreed there.

message 143: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments I 4* Rookie Move and ended up reading the whole series!

Ela reacting to a book the same as the C book...I loved the C book maybe I would like the Idea of you? If it ever dropped its price in the U.K.!

message 144: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments The C-book was much worse, this one was just pointless and dumb! Paula, this book is no where close in story or plot to the C-book!

message 145: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Just in case you guys didn't see the other thread. I recieved Consumed today byJ.R. Ward through NetGalley. Releases in October

message 146: by Ela (new)
