Guy gets crippled in chapter one after a girl cheats on him. Spoilers ahead.

so it’s this guy and he’s at a party and her walks into a room to sleep or go to the washroom or something (or maybe he just hears them having sex) and he opens the door and sees his girlfriend cheating on him. later he gets in to a car crash. he’s crippled now and he can’t play tennis anymore and he feels weird hanging out with his friends because they’re the cool kids and he’s not “cool” anymore. so he meets this new girl and he originally is kinda mean because of everything that happens but later on he grows to like her. she has like green eyes or something because he’s always talking about how her sweater matches her eyes. so yeah they fall in love and stuff kinda and if u don’t already know what this book is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

SPOILERS

they later find out that he got in a car crash with her now dead brother and stuff and that’s why she didn’t go to prom with him. also his dog died(?) from a coyote because he was trying to win the girl back by putting together one of those light up deers or something
