SOLVED. YA from a couple years ago. Girl finds magic book that reacts to her DNA. [s]

The main character is a girl who lives with her dog and father. Their trade is fixing the trees that provide power where the people of their society live. Dad gets sick and sends girl to an underground council where she becomes a servant and finds a book linked to her bloodline that answers any question she asks it. There is also a magic staff that lets you travel anywhere and it gets stolen.

I want to say 2015-2016, there was going to be another book but it hadn't come out yet.

How does the book react to the DNA?
What comes to my mind is a book I paused, but will still finish some day, Deborah Harkness A Discovery of Witches, the first in a trilogy.

Which is also available as an Omnibus/Box-Set (cheaper I think), which I bought as an ebook: The All Souls Trilogy Boxed Set.

This is just a first guess, also I am not really sure, wether this is YA, I would rather say, NA. Has Vampires, Magic (and Witches, obviously).

If this is not it, a few more hints might help, like the cover or a few details about the story or characters.

I've read a discovery of witches and that's not it. The book like sucks up her blood and then shows her maps of the underground tunnels she lives in and answers any questions she asks it.
