Nanette (nanetterosie) | 11 comments I so want to participate in a bunch of reading groups. What’s going on is my three married children have started having children and it’s gotten so busy! But a great and beautiful busy! So I log on and watch the threads when I can. I will get back in the swing eventually. Enjoy the books!

Elizabeth Meadows (lizziefaye) | 424 comments No worries Nanette! I'm just glad that you joined. This will be a totally chill group. I plan to start threads for various series and books that I'm enjoying. Then when and if you read those books, you will have a place to chat about them. It won't be like a book club where you have to read something everything month.

Rachel Hi, thanks for the invite to this group :) I am participating in Amish in April. I don't think I can finish five books by the 26th. So I managed to get two books that fulfill all the reading challenges. I am reading " An Unexpected Amish Romance Patricia Davids. which covers the food, romance, and hat challenges. Then my other book is called "Plain threat by Alison Stone" which is a mystery and has buggy on the cover.

Books In Every Room | 18 comments I’m progressing faster than expected with my book for the historical fiction group so I found a book for this readathon that (I think) meets all but one challenge. It’s Murder at the Amish Wedding. That covers love and mystery. There’s a lady with a hat on the front as well as a wheat field. No surrey though!

SewIRead | 1 comments Hi I'm sorry I couldn't manage to get a video up for this readathon but I am taking part :)
So far I've read Let Go and Let God by Sandra Becker and am currently reading The Amish Widow (Amish Secret Widows' Society #1) by Samantha Price I hope to read more but will see how the week goes.
Hope everyone's having fun - yay! :) xxx

Lisa | 6 comments My mother reads a lot of Amish romance so I have a few of them that she passed down to me. They are not my favorite but I will see what I have that may fit the challenges.

Debbie Harris (memaknits) | 4 comments Yep I am participating in this read-a-long. I really enjoy these books and look forward to reading and seeing what everyone else is reading.

message 9: by Janice (new)

Janice Richardson | 2 comments Romance is not a genre I like, I did review one this year. Just finished Chasing Symmetry by Tempeste Blake and a mystery The Baby on the Back Porch by Lucia Davis (novella) for MysteryThriller Week 2018. If I find an Amish read that isn't romantic, I will read it for April.

Elizabeth Meadows (lizziefaye) | 424 comments You can probably still fit whatever books you have into this years challenges. The book you have does look like a good choice for 4/5 of the A.M.I.S.H. challenges from 2018, I remember that the first one (food on the cover) turned out to be a little harder than I originally thought it would be.
I've read some Beth Wiseman books, but not that one. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what season it takes place in. Maybe it will cover a whole year or more than one season so that you can count it for more than one prompt too.
