Book listed under wrong author of same name

I am a new author and apparently have the same name as an already established author on this website. When adding my book it was automatically added to the other author's profile. Can a librarian please reassign it to my profile please or make so that I can claim it as my own? Thanks.

How long does it generally take for an author claim to go through?

Michelle, does your book have an ISBN or ASIN? A publisher?

It will be self-published and will have an ISBN as soon I upload it to Amazon for pre-order next week. I’m also part of an anthology with NineStar Press but I don’t believe that book has been added to goodreads yet. I’m hesitant to add it until my author profile issue is resolved to avoid the same situation.

If the only book on the profile is one without an ISBN or ASIN and no indication it has already been published, you are unlikely to be approved for the Goodreads Author program.

You may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page to discuss this in more detail.
