Joan~I agree. I learned so much and this was just incredible. You are right, it would be terrific if schools taught history like this.

I just started I already am taken in by the story and beautiful writing. This is a retake about The Scarlet Letter. We learn the MC has Synesthesia, which means you use more then 1 or your senses. So, a word also takes on a color in her mind. This is fascinating, but at the time the book takes place, it can get one labeled a witch or insane.

I really enjoyed it a lot. I read his other book as well called slaughter house five and it was also very good. I highly recommend them. I also never read them until the last year or 2 and glad I did.

I just finished . by Laurie Lico Albanese. This is a retelling of The Scarlet Letter, a prequel of the imagined woman in the book. I can not recommend it this enough. If, you enjoy HF, this is the best book I’ve read so far this year. It really was fantastic.

Something Borrowed - Emily Giffin

I just listened to the first chapter of the audiobook and I’m interested to see what happens next. I’ve seen the movie adaptation of the book and I loved it but I haven’t read the book. If I end up liking this book then I’ll read the sequel Something Blue.

I just started , by Ellen Marie Wiseman. She is a favorite author of mine and this one I think will be really good. Sage Winters is looking for her identical twin sister who stays at the Willowbrook Institution. When she arrives no one believes that she is not her sister, Rosemary, so at this point they are locking her up since everyone thinks she is delusional. Think Sage is going to find out a lot is going on there.
