I just finished an ARC of Sarah Morgan;s first women's fiction novel How to Keep a Secret by Sarah Morgan and am about to begin an ARC of Manda's One for the Rogue (Studies in Scandal, #4) by Manda Collins . Lucky me!

Irisheyes | 896 comments I am going to start Marry in Scandal by Anne Gracie today. Last week was crazy. I didn't even get a chance to start this one when it downloaded on Tuesday! I'm really looking forward to it. It has my favorite trope with my favorite type of heroine!

Stacey (staceyissassy) I'm reading my ARC of Chaser by Kylie Scott which I'm really enjoying.

Up next, an ARC of The Good Luck Sister by Jill Shalvis, The Luck of the Bride by Janna MacGregor, and any other new stories that catch my eye.

I can't wait to start One for the Rogue.

Irish, I loved the Gracie. Lily is a most endearing heroine, and the other characters are almost as appealing.

Irisheyes | 896 comments I'm so excited Janga. I've been in the mood for a really good historical for quite some time now! I'm waiting until I'm alone so I can savor it. LOL

Good to hear that you are liking CHASER, Stacey! That's on my list.

There are some terrific historicals among next month's releases, Irish. I loved EJ's Too Wilde to Wed and Katharine Ashe's The Prince. Mary Balogh's Someone to Care, although not as good as Someone to Wed IMO, is still a great read. I recently finished Lorraine Heath's When a Duke Loves a Woman (August), and despite having to stretch my suspension of disbelief to the maximum, really enjoyed it. Also, not a historical, but I think you will love JAL's First Time at Firelight Falls, another May release.

I'm still in a reading slump, which is why I haven't been posting. I've got a couple of ARCs of books I've been looking forward to but even they aren't helping. I'm something like 20 books behind on my Goodreads challenge :( Oh well. At least I have plenty of British mysteries to stream.

Have you tried Devney Perry? She writes contemporary and I really like her style. The last read was a standalone - The Birthday List but her previous ones are part of a series.

I hope I keep liking it, Irisheyes, it's pretty funny so far. Fingers crossed. 🤞

Leigh-Ayn | 1214 comments Not reading anything at the moment. Need to rectify that. Have Australian Nataionals (Dog Agility) this week starting tomorrow so no real time to get into anything! I’ve downloaded the C.S. Harris books! And I’ve just finished Captive Bride by Katharine Ashe. X

Thanks, Janga. I'm counting the days until FIRST TIME AT FIRELIGHT FALLS releases!

Looking forward to Mary Balogh's SOMEONE TO CARE but not as much as her November release of SOMEONE TO TRUST.

I haven't read EJ's WILDE IN LOVE yet. I was going to wait until TOO WILDE TO WED came out and read them together. I'm looking forward to both of those. My sister is pretty even keel and likes most of what she reads but was very excited and effusive about EJ's WILDE IN LOVE and said she couldn't wait for the next in the series. So, I'm thinking they're going to be good. LOL

If that Lorraine Heath release is the second in her new series then I should probably read the first one before it releases. If I remember correctly the first one, released a few months ago, got rave reviews all across the board. And I don't think I've ever read Katharine Ashe. I'll have to check her out.

I did just finish Anne Gracie's MARRY IN SCANDAL and loved it.

Oh, hah! I missed this. I didn't even know ARCs had gone out until someone tweeted their review at me! Always the last to know :( Hope you enjoy it ❤️
