I read all eight in middle school and high school. What a joy!
I had fun reading The Strange Case of the Alchemist's DaughterThe other book is part of a series I'm trying to get through because I bought the first 4 books in the series when they were on sale lol. It isn't a favorite, but it's a fairly good urban fantasy series.
im not currently reading this, but as soon as it arrives i will be! its leah on the off beat! the sequel (kinda) to simon vs the homosapiens agenda. i pre-ordered it and its not coming for another 10 days even though the release date is tomorrow! amazon shipping sucks, is anyone else planning to read this book?
Halfway through I Thirst, it's an interesting read, very everyday situations and a variety of usage of writing in it. I was gonna pick up and start reading the third book of the series in A Wrinkle in Time, ended up buying book 4, so I have to wait. lol. I got a lot of reading on my list. Not enough time in the world.
@Audrey 8 books? I only know of five...unless you mean the books that connect to the A Wrinkle in Time books but are like other family or future as far as I could tell from her family map. I do plan on reading those.
Kinda like I wanted to read The Mortal Instruments Series after I read The Infernal Devices Trilogy. Both Written by Cassandra Clara, but I prefer the prologue trilogy over her other stuff.
It was originally a quartet. The next four are the next generation, including An Acceptable Time, which got tacked on as part of this quintet, which I do not understand AT ALL. I guess that’s marketers for you.

A Darker Shade of MagicStrange the Dreamer
The Fifth Season
Democracy in America (still)
Just finished Wayward
I’ve heard Strange the Dreamer turns into a romance. If it does, I will have to drop it or rate it very low. (I want to read a fantasy, not a romance disguised as fantasy. If I want to read romance, I will go to the romance shelf.)Wayward was pretty good.
Well hope it goes good for you. Ask someone who has already read it. Perhaps they can guide you better :)
I have to read both lol
I have to read both lol

The movies leave out SO MUCH and changed some things I didn’t like. Books are so much better in this case.

Really? I like them though but it's great if the books are better :)

They cut tons of funny parts and lots of characters and then really simplify the mysteries. The fourth one totally cut Sirius and Dobby out of the story, for instance.

I wouldn't know, guess I better read it soon, huh?

Yes, the movies, which were only 2 btw, pulled me towards the books too and maybe I read a book or 2 but I've long forgotten that-so I have to start the series :)

I read The Grownup today and it ended so soon! I had fun reading it. But I want so many explanations to it!

I've read all of the 300 star wars novels from the Expanded universe, it was a book a day for 300 straight days 😏If you are interested in reading a star wars novel, pick up ''Star Wars Lords of the Sith'' it's a nice jump into the series, and if you like that novel, I'll recomend some more.
It is one of my dreams to one day write a star wars novel.(my other dream is that someone will buy it)
🤣

Has anyone read it already?”
I just read that a few months ago. Watch the psychological breakdown of the characters."
Yes, it was great!
Gave it 4 stars!
It sure took a little getting used to the writing style-but after that, it was quick!
