Trying to find a book about an orphan that teaches herself ballet? /s

It was such a lovely book.
I really loved it when I began reading it in the sixth grade, but I had to return it before I could finish it. It was about an orphan that lived in the UK and taught herself ballet until this teacher decided to train her professionally. The girl was a teenager, I think. And it was set in the 20s or 30s, I think. The cover of the book was scarlet red and that's all I can remember!
