I'm number 700 and something on the waiting list in Overdrive. Looks like I'll be waiting a while before i can read this. I'm going to look for other options; wish me luck!
Luckily, there weren't too many people on my local library's wait list for the audio version of this title. Already on the 3rd CD, and I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow's commute!
I picked this and Wrinkle up from the library yesterday. The copy is pristine, so I think I'm the first person tp have borrowed it.Have read 2 chapters, so far, and it has started really strong, imo, which is a relief - especially after my previous read, which was so hard to connect to.
Really looking forward to seeing how this unfolds.
I'm about 1/2 way through and I'm loving this book.Lots of interesting twists and I'm trying to decide where I would land on some of the bigger questions.
I can't wait to see how everything plays out!
I'm like Sue - past half-way, now, and loving it ..... I had a quick glance at the other discussion page, then quickly stopped myself when I saw a name I didn't recognise :0I am stalling a little, atm, coz I want to stretch it out a bit :P
I've just started this book for my RL book club. Everyone seems to love it. Glad I'm finally getting to it!
I would love to read this book with the group but I am far down the wait list at my library. Normally I would buy the book but I have challenged myself to buy nothing (except food and necessities) for all of spring.
I checked earlier and I am 8th in line for this book. I’ll have to read it late, but it WILL get read!
I got a late start this month, but I finally started this last night. I read the first 2 chapters and they were great. Can't wait to read more. I read Everything I Never Told You by this same author and really disliked it, but I'm optimistic that this will be better.
I am joining the line of people waiting for this book to be delivered to them.I don't think I'll receive it soon, so I'll probably read it in May.

Now, out of the 9 CDs (I'm listening to the audio version during my commute), I am half way through the 8th CD...and it's Friday afternoon! Normally, that is a great thing, but I don't know whether I can wait until Monday to finish the story!

I finally got my copy today and am excited to start!and Carla - please please please move your comment to the SPOILERS thread!! I didn't get very far but it seems to be a major detail of the story.
I finally got a copy from the library today. I've read the first 3 chapters and so far I really like it!

Starting this today and after just finishing a rather heavy non-fiction I'm really looking forward to this. Thanks Kerri and Megan for the heads up about the spoiler mentioned in this thread, luckily I saw the last messages first so managed to avoid it, see you on the spoiler side!
