Definitely a bit late, but I finally finished Traitor to the Throne so now I can start this! XD

Ch25 (view spoiler)[Okay, so a few things... firstly while I realise you didn’t have much of a choice it was a REALLY bad idea to trust that Djinni considering the fact that he’s been imprisoned for... a long time... and basically hates all humanity and all other Djinni.

Secondly, despite leaving Jin behind you seem to have forgotten that you have Ahmed’s compass in your pocket so he can 100% find you again (...which definitely would come in useful right now).

Thirdly, if that magic barrier has come down then the Destroyer of Worlds has nothing stopping it which IS bad... but also the Sultan has been wanting a chance to defeat them so HERE’S YOUR CHANCE SULTAN MAN. GOOD LUCK.

And finally.... when the hell is her power going to stop causing her legit physical pain? If it were a physical wound surely it would have healed by now? (hide spoiler)]

Ch35 (view spoiler)[Okay, it is really hard to know whether Zaahir is helping them or just being an ass at this point. I mean, he appears to be helping, but he also doesn’t want to help? Or something?

Maybe he IS helping because Amani looks like the woman he loved, or maybe he’s just hoping to take revenge on the other Djinni through her as an unwitting conduit... it’s all very convoluted ._.

I do hope that by the end of this book that Amani will have been able to have a true heart-to-heart with her father though... (hide spoiler)]

I agree. There is something really magical but the (view spoiler)[fairy tale segments. I really love this author's writing style and these make me eager to get my hands on the prequel short story collection in this series. (hide spoiler)]
