I don't like that this Elowin was able to snatch Willa so easily and actually pull one over on the guys even for a short amount of time. I love how Willa is literally from the bottom of society, the dirt on most peoples shoes and yet nothing stops her. Even a stone room with no exits or anything can't hold this girl. She'll find a way to blow it up or kill someone! (hide spoiler)]

Willa as usual is our narrator and consistently gets herself into trouble to which she either magically gets herself out of or has to be rescued by the Abcurse brothers. Then again we also learned they don’t really have a last name so I’m not quite sure like her how to refer to them. It’s still taking me time to connect each brother with their power though I think I finally have Yael as Persuasion, Siret as trickery and Aros is Seduction. We meet a few more Gods in this one and I’ll be honest they’re all kinda @$$holes. I hate the way everyone treats Willa, worse than gum stuck to their show but damn can this girl roll with the punches. I absolutely love her and being in her head while a jumbled mess is also amusing and enlightening. Still only heavy sexual tension between the Bros and her but things are definitely coming to a head especially now that they realized what the curse Rau used was meant for and how it’s affecting Willa. I’m upset though about the loss of a Dwellers who is needlessly struck down and while I won’t say who, I hope the ppl affected are as stubborn as Willa and stick tho their guns, don’t give up the fight and get some retribution. Classic Willa. She grows on me more and more as the stories go on. Her unpredictability even with the guys being able to read her mind is great and I cannot wait to see if and when she comes into her full power, even if she has to DIE for it to happen! Finished... (view spoiler)[ I am so in love with this series. Every book just gets better and better. But now that I am nearing the end I am dreading being done. I will say that this book is the exact reason why I never read a series that is incomplete. This book ends with such a bang that I’m immediately starting the next one after I finish this review. I continue to love Willa and all the guys I’m happy that we finally get some sexy times in this book. Granted it does happen almost near the end and technically she only has actual sex with one of them but it provides much hope for the future. If anyone can handle five guys it’s Willa. What she can’t handle is walking a straight line, holding sharp objects or just plain surviving on her own. There’s so much I want to say especially regarding her mother and how horrible I think it is what happened to her being turned into a Jeffrey. I understand she was an alcoholic and had problems but I still have a slight hope that somehow her mother died of natural causes without the interference of the gods. And damn, what a way to end the book by killing her, Willa I mean. I mean I was more shocked by who actually did it, Cyrus. I still don’t quite understand why but knowing what I do, that I believe he’s possibly going to end up with Emmy, maybe he’s not such an ass hat. Honestly aside from the brothers and Emmy she can trust no one so I guess we’ll have to see how things play out. And here’s to hoping that we have a five guy willa sandwich in the next book. I’m just glad he’s gone for good and Willa managed to humble the remaining Gods. I would love an extended epilogue for the series or something, I don’t want to be done lol.
