Thanks Aditya

Oh my goodness, me and my typos. One day I'll learn to proof before I hit "post." I was going to change it but this is too cute.

Hi Gem,
USA Janet here. Your "Focus on the Author Moderators" link didn't work. But it did lead me to the lovely poem by JRR Tolkien! LOL.

Oy. I thought I checked those links. Hmmm, sorry about that.

I second Ruth Rendell/Barbara Vine

No, Gem - the link is still giving me "all that is gold does not glitter". Will check Group Home and search Moderators from there.

Here is my list:
Faye Kellerman
Jonathan Kellerman
Lisa Gardner
Peter James
John Sandford
Michael Connelly
Susie Steiner

James Church (his detective is in North Korea)
Donna Leon (Venice)
Colin Coterril (Laos)
Thank you to all who suggested names for our list, I've updated it and the mod team will make an announcement of who our next Focus author will be within the next month or so. Don't hesitate to continue to add to the list.
We wrap up Agatha Christie in mid-September so well likely start our next Focus on project at the beginning of October.
I've removed the link from the op since it was a "help wanted" ad and we've fill the positions we need in order to successfully carry on our project. Thanks for bringing that to my attention ladies.

Thank you for the addition Suzy, I've updated to list to include him.

One of my favorite series EVER. :)

Both of these are favorites of mine too!
This list will remain open for more suggestions. But at this point, only those on the list as of this date will be considered for our next Focus Project. Now it's up to the mods to widdle those names down to a handful that will be put into a poll in the next few days. Thank you to everyone who contributed names of authors for our next project.
I want to suggest a few authors:
Steve Berry
Arthur Conan Doyle
Stephen King
Dean Koontz
Brad Meltzer
Stuart Woods

The list has been updated and to remove:
Michael Connelly who will be the author of our next Focus Project.
Rhys Bowen since her books are considered Cozy Mysteries and we now have a dedicated Cozy area.
Chris wrote: "I enjoy Rhys Bowen for both of her series: Her Royal Spyness and Molly Murphy."
Jenny is taking nominations in Cozy Corner for Cozie Mystery Series so I submitted her name there.
