OKAY! So, I'm 29% done and already have a lot of things to talk about. (view spoiler)[There are some characters that i don't understand how they further the plot. For example, Leah and Abby. I guess it could be that if Simon is low key not trying to expose his sexuality yet and people start to doubt that he's straight, he would use Leah or Abby.
Honestly, i'm probably off track, it could just be that they're just friends. I don't know why i'm so skeptical. I do believe that there are too many characters in the story that it gets confusing at some point.
So far, i'm not exactly sure who is Blue, but i have a feeling it could be Cal. Also, in chapter 9 after Blue emailed him, Simon thoughts went wild of course, but the thing is when he imagined Blue looking into his eyes he mentioned Cal. Cal could just be his crush irl and Blue could be another person but for now, that's the only hint i could get on Blue's identity. (hide spoiler)]

Thoughts 10 chapters in!
Omg, it's so hard to stop myself from continuing to read it! I absolutely love the format of the book (view spoiler)[ that one chapter is the story and one chapter is the emails~ thanks Farah for pointing it out (hide spoiler)]
Anyways, there is quite a few characters, but I so far prefer only a couple (view spoiler)[ is it weird that I want to see more of Garrett? His personality resembles someone I know irl! OH and also.... I get this feeling that Blue is Nick. I do agree that Simon's irl crush might be Cal, but I don't really think Cal is Blue though. (hide spoiler)]

We're reading at quite a fast pace so far, but this thread would remain active with discussions for 1 and a half more week! I always love fast-paced easy-to-read books ahaha :P

So far to chapter 15::
Spoilers ahead...

Characters- I love how the characters are from a diverse aspect. Each character represents a different personality. I can honestly relate to Simon in all ways with his behavior towards Martin. UGH HE'S SO ANNOYING. Is this nerd really tryna blackmail someone?? What an amateur.

Plot- my favorite thing about the story is the emails shared between Simon and Blue. AHH they're so adorable! Everyone is hopelessly in 'like' with someone else but no ones willing to give in and spill the beans.

Setting- I love books that take place in high school because I'm a teenager and I love seeing other teenagers suffer. Its just completely fascinating.

Overall- I need more drama to feed on!!! And most importantly, is Blue Cal!?! Or do you think its another timid student in the background?
