Thanks, Karen, I've been wanting to continue this series!

Aloha Lagoon Mysteries by Various Authors

Hello Gary, so sorry to be a bit late. Had to go to Ohio for my mother's funeral and am having trouble getting internet to work at the hotel here. Anyway, I am not familiar with your choices so I decided that since my son is in the Navy and stationed in Hawaii at Pearl Harbor, I would choose Aloha Lagoon for you. It looks like it is an ongoing one for you so good reading. Jeanne

Thanks. I've been looking forward to starting this series.

Thank you Suranjana. It's a new series for me.

Hi Barbara,
I only recognise one of your series, but I'm picking the Tourist Trap for you because they sound like something I'd enjoy.

Lots of sunshine here today. Perfect for reading. I have picked for you the Sarah Booth Delaney series. I have read the first one. It is a fun series.

Inspector Gamache mysteries by Louise Penny
A Rule against Murder and The Cruelist Month

Hi Susan, you have so many interesting books I'd love to read, too. This time, I'll pick the one in my list as well, Louise Penny's Armand Gamache. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks so much for this choice. Here was one of my favourite characters. Anxious to see what his superiors have in store for him. No good I'll bet.
Finished the first one. Somewhat different from the others

I am choosing the Aurora Teagarden Series for you, I have read most of them and they were quick reads for me. Hope you enjoy them. Happy reading!!

My condolences and prayers for your family.
The Aloha Lagoon books are lots of fun. Looking forward to going back for 2 more visits next month.
I highly recommend both Aloha Lagoon and Danger Cove. Two locations that rival Cabot Cove as a dangerous place to live.

I choose for you|b> Bibliophile Mystery series

Thanks Danielle, hopefully I'll finish it ☺

Thank you very much, Meg. It was really a blessing. She was 98 and had been failing for some time. Although I don't think anyone is really prepared to lose a parent, she went peacefully and without pain, which is all both she and I could ask.

Hello Gary,..."
Thank you for your kind words. Although it was sad to lose her, it was really a blessing. She was 98 and had been failing for some time. We were both fortunate that she went peacefully and without pain, except that she lived (and died) some eight hours away.

My younger brother died last year from a very rapid version of ALS 2 months later my mom died at age 88. Her service dog died about 3 weeks later. They are all in a better place and no longer in pain or suffering. We are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of their passing. Reading got me through it then and will get me through the 1 year mark.
98 is a good long time. I think my dad is aiming for 100 as he will be 93 in May.

Here's hoping your dad makes it to 100. My grandfather (actually my 98 yo mother's father) was hoping to be the first in his family to make 100, but he died at 99 1/2. Several family members have been close (including my mother and her sister) but no one has made it yet.

That is an awesome long time, 98! And your grandpa at 99 1/2. I'm happy for her that she had a peaceful passing. My mom had her 90th bday this Jan, unusual for her family.

But you know what, you guys are so lucky. Both my grandparents died around 70 years age. I would have given anything for them to live at least 10 years more. Moreover, my Grandpa had Alzheimer's disease, so his last 5 years were horrible for us. He didn't recognize any of us...
I wish your family members all the very best. They would definitely make 100. 😃😍

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, we are grateful that we had her as long as we did.

And PS i saw this yesterday and isn't this one of the most gaw-geous covers ever?
