LJF | 127 comments There are lots of books where the MC is a celebrity/famous person. Most of these books feature paparazzi- usually as the antagonists preventing MC from being able to live their life. I want to hear the other side's justification- a book where the MC is part of the paparazzi, and why they do it.

Lisa | 7 comments A brief description of the book is a young woman photographer or reporter is in ?South Carolina? on assignment and she's attacked and knocked unconscious. Upon waking she realizes her attacker shoved her, in her car, into the water. She's rescued by an elderly old black man who turns out to be a vampire. The beginning of the book centers around her transformation and wanting revenge on the other vampire that turned her. The old black vampire was a slave when he was turned and he refers to her as Angel (I think). I'm sorry it seems like a vague description I was trying to not give spoilers. I read it as a teenager and I'm DYING to find it again

There is a mystery series where the various MC s are paparazzi in Hollywood. It's written by Gemma Halliday and is called Hollywood Headlines Mystery Hollywood Headlines Mysteries Boxed Set has the first 3 stories in it and right now at least it's on sale at both Amazon and B&N. I was reminded of it because it showed up today on one of my ematl lists of cheap or free books.
