Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because....books are the first thing I look for when shopping. And I am constantly looking for more books to add to my all ready long list of TBRs.

Favorite Book(s): The Great Gatsby and Pride & Prejudice!
Favorite Book Genre: Motivational/Inspirational, YA, Humor, Memoirs, Chick Lit, Travel...whatever catches my eye and calls out to me, I'll read it!
Favorite Author: There are too many to name just one! My favorite authors include: Jane Austen, Meg Cabot, Kiera Cass & Sophie Kinsella!

If I could live anywhere in the world? I'm in love with the beach and since I live by the beach; I'm incredibly grateful, it's where I want to be! Also, I love traveling and tend to fall in love with every country that I visit; continuing to travel & see new places completely rocks my world!
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because....I absolutely love books, the smell of books, holding books, reading books, collecting books, being in a bookstore...and the list goes on!

Favorite Book(s): Too many to count but I just finished Fahrenheit 451 and I absolutely loved it. I think it's my new favorite. Other than that... the Harry Potter series.

I know I'm a book addict because I need to read like people need food and air. I read between 5 to 12 (or more) books simultaneously. Book addiction?

Favorite Book(s): this is always a tricky question to answer, so I won't decide on that just yet because who knows when I'll meet "The One" ?
Favorite Book Genre: I loooove fantasy, it's probably my favorite genre, be it in novels or even comics. I just love it.

Favorite Food: I love food so this hard for me but... probably chicken curry with rice!
Any Pets: I have two pets! A cat named Zina, and a lil bunny named Clementine (Clemy for short), and they are my princesses <3
If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: Canada! Montreal, probably, so I can both hear french and english!
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because when I don't read for a long while and I go back into it, I remember just how much I enjoy it and how much it relaxes me.

Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because.... I read more books a month than most people I know (personally, not on GRs) do in a year. More in my element among the heavy readers here! :D

Favorite Book(s): The book (s) that hold a very special place in my heart are the Dawn Rochelle series by Lurlene McDaniel. They were the first books I read that made me feel like I wasn't alone in what I was dealing with

Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because... I'd rather stay up reading to finish a book and be a zombie the next next day, than sleep and read it later.

Birthday: Feb 13th, sometimes on a Friday, which is awesome. Very near to Valentine's Day which is probably the source of my hatred of pink.
Favorite Book(s): So many. Ender's Game has been my go-to fav for years, but I'm really digging the Silo series and Beggars in Spain atm.

If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: I haven't been many places so this is hard to answer. Anywhere my partner is, is where I want to be. :)
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because... I have a library in my house, and carry ~300 books in my pocket at any given time (on my iPod).

Birthday: Jan 26. I just turned 56 and proud of it. I am have no fear of growing older I am actually embracing the wisdom that comes with age.
Favorite Book(s): Many. I am especially fond of the books by Lisa See (Snow Flower and the Secret Fan being one) and Amy Tan (think Bonesetter's Daughter tops the list) but I all love books about China and the Chinese culture. Also like Fantasy and my most recent favorite there would be "Uprooted" by Naomi Novik

If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: Not sure exactly, since I would love to live near the Beach but there are also parts about city life that I love, I don't like extreme heat or extreme cold but love the changing seasons. Mostly I want to live where ever my wife will be happy LOL. "Happy wife, Happy life" as they say. We have been together for 12 years and legally married for 2 . Cheers!
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because... Books have been my passion since I was a kid. I remember not being able to wait for the library's summer reading challenge and summer vacation when I could read 2 books a day if I wanted to! Now I have lots going on in my life so I can't read as much I would like, but it is still a very important part of my life. I take my Kindle everywhere . 8-)

Favorite Book(s): Oh man, too many, but I think I read Dangerous Angels about a million times as a teenager and it's always the first book that comes to mind as just being really Special.

Favorite Food: Really creamy pasta dishes that are awful for me.
Any Pets: My cat Jasper who everyone thinks is a boy but I named her for the Steven Universe character because she's big and loud and orange.
If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: In a decent-sized city that isn't too nuts, somewhere like Boston or Seattle
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because.... being in bookstores is my ultimate comfort food, even if I wind up hoarding them and not buying a thing I could just stare longingly at the titles for hours.

Favorite Book(s): I can't believe that some people have one. My favorites shelf has my favorite childhood books and the books that have stayed with me over the years.

Favorite Book(s): Oh, there are so many!!!! Probably have to go with the whole Harry Potter series (my first love) and the Lunar Chronicles, right now those are my faves.
Favorite Book Genre: YA fantasy, specifically that geared towards slightly younger teens, but I'll read anything if necessary (except horror - I HATE horror!!!!)
Favorite Author: J.K. Rowling because of 3 things (mainly): a. the way she made sure the movies stuck as close to the books as possible b. the fact that she wrote books she knew fans would eat up then donated the proceeds to charity c. her writing of course!

I haven't gone a day without reading a book since age 6 and the fact that I have almost filled up my kindle, I have three bookshelves of books, I have a tub of books in our storage area, and I started having problems finding interesting books at the Library because I read them all! (I go again now, but for a while, there really wasn't much to read.)

Favorite Book: It changes all the time. Right now I would say the Bllodlines series.

I've actually never tried Philadelphia rolls, but that sounds pretty interesting xD We have those where I live so I'll probably try it out next time I'm buying sushi hahaha

I'm so glad! It's highly addictive!! I definitely haven't read the same since I joined this group years ago. It's fun to find reasons to read a book. I'm always going to be reading but picking my next book because it fits a challenge just makes it all that more enjoyable.

That's a personal preference, though I know it is daunting. We're soon going to introduce a series of "New Member" challenges to ease y'all in, but they aren't ready yet. :/
On the 1st our monthly newsletter will go out with challenges listed in it, you could start there, or go to the individual challenge sections and find something you are interested in and try that.
For example, if you are really into Game of Thrones or Cooking, you could try out those challenges, or anything that peaks your interest along those lines. Another good place to start might be the All About You challenges, starting with Part 1. There are 4 parts now. Or how about a focus on titles, which reading through the Alphabet using Titles?
