I completely agree with you Nay - I would hate her to miss it. It is such an epic love. With regards to the spoiler - I was OK reading it and agree with you - it was where the story was going at that time. It is not an all hearts and flowers love story but there are hearts and flowers plus I feel the author gave us a great ending.
She had better give a nice ending to her new duet! Not as epic as this trilogy but an enjoyable read.

Hey ladies!! I haven't been on GR in soooooo long...I actually couldn't remember my password at first, lol.

My issue with At This Moment is (view spoiler)[ the H cheating. Even if they are separated (as in taking a time out) then like Tessa said, it drives me nuts. Dude, you're taking a break from the relationship to clear your head, not to clear your OTHER head into another chick. Keep it in your pants until you've decided one way or the other. 😡

The only time I am somewhat okay with it (and marginally forgiving) and don't consider it cheating is if the couple is broken up and BOTH of them are aware of it being over.

But the H just up and cheating? Oh HELL no. I don't care how much he grovels and makes it up to her, I will never see him the same way and will never have the same feels as the h towards him, which kills the whole reading experience for me. And I'll just say it now, I have a double standard because I love books where the h cheats, but I also want to see in those everything fall apart - and then work out, in one way or another - for the h as SHOULD happen.

Here At This Moment the author answers the question of if the H actually cheats, and she truthfully answers that he does. Another reviewer likened it to Reckless except Kellan was actually a faithful guy in it and this H...is not. (hide spoiler)]

That's what is holding me back. 😕

Amy--there ARE extenuating circumstances, but after reading your post, I don't think you'll be ok with the hero.

Someone else may think differently??

I kind of do - my review gives a bit more details as to what happened but somehow I could sort of forgive him and that is probably because how he was after the incident (and it is not full on sex) and how the author had the effects on his emotions come back throughout the series. At no point was he glib about what happened - their love was epic but not without issues. Which the author dealt with amazingly.

THAT is the sort of thing which makes it even more infuriating for me, when there is a chick going after the guy for any portion of the book and the H gives in. (hide spoiler)]

I just wish she would have left that out because THEN I would be indulging in this story right along with you guys. And I am so, so, SO jealous of those of you who are able to get over this sort of thing when reading. So there's that.

I actually don’t remember the cheating in the book. There’s actually so much going on. That’s not really relative as I think it’s inferred but not graphic. May have to read it again to remember that part.

:D One of my top favorites of 2017. Gut wrenching, emotional, I freaking Cried, and to be honest, of that huge Mafia mood I went through, that was the best and such a unique feel and plot to a trope. Seriously, I just wanted to hug the heroine.

Renee, FREAKING LOVED NASHVILLE!!!! It is an awesome city! We went to all the popular bars (Tootsies, The Stage, FGL Bar, Nudie's and many more) and I LOVED all the local bands! Did Grande Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Jack Daniels distillery! All great! Was the name of that restaurant you recommrnded near JD distillery Miss Mary Bobos? If so, that WAS where we ate and it was great! Homemade southern food served family style with people at our table we didn't know but got to meet and chat! I'll definitely be going back to Nashville....I could listen to the bands all day long!

Wow, Jean! You've been to more of Nashville than I have! lol Being that I'm not a country music lover... I have been to the Opry, though.

I've also been to the JD Distillery and went antiquing in Lynchburg. And yes, it is Miss Mary Bobo's. A local talk show we have called 'Talk of the Town' has the owner on there a lot making her recipes and talking about the restaurant. She's the great grandniece of Jack Daniel.

The restaurant was the most pleasant surprise! I was apprehensive when i found out we sat with other people and ate whatever was being served because I'm shy and a picky eater! But it was awesome! My girlfriend bought the cookbook!

Awww, thanks Karen! I checked out Paula's review (THANK YOU PAULA!!!) which explained it a bit. I did buy the book but I have to really be in the right kind of mood to tackle that sort of thing because it is unfortunately one of my hard limits in books.

The good news is I finished all my challenges for the month!!! The bad news is I am def having a book slump.

I couldnt get into A Love Letter to Whiskey 2**

(view spoiler)[I never warmed up to characters (which always makes a book fail for me) and it was sooooooo much back and forth I had whiplash. The "whiskey" references were way overused and then when they finally get together, we dont even see the actual reunion. The epilogue was a let down. Ugh!! (hide spoiler)]

Leslie--one of my HUGE pet peeves is when characters have a break-up, time apart, angst, whatever, and there's no 'payoff' when they finally get back together or get everything worked out. I've mentioned it in many reviews.

Nay, I hate when I am reading and I dont "feel" anything. Do you know what I mean? Its like I dont even care what happens to characters. That is when I know it will be a book fail. It reminded me when you all were loving and I was bored silly and not getting it.
