"soooo how old are you?" she asked curiously
"too old"he said with a laugh
Kay giggled. "well im only 17" she told him
"ah,such a younge age, your so lucky, I think i'm like 19"he said
"you think?" she asked.
he seems so much like Alex...

"okay..." she said looking at him still
"so, you live near by?"he asked
"right down the street" she said pointing into a direction
"oh,that's pretty close"he said
"yeah. But i live alone, so i dont mind being out so late" she said smiling a little
"oh"he said. "what about your parents?"
Katherine looked away. This had been the second time she had to remember them that night. "dead..." she said shuddering
"its alrigt..." she said glancing at him though
he looked at her. "I have a brother,other than him,the rest of my family is dead"he said
"oh im sorry...but its nice you have a brother at least" she said turning her head to face him.

"im sure he doesnt. I mean your family, so hes gotta luv u somehow"
"tell that to him,if you ever meet him."he said.
"whats your brothers name anyways?" she asked
Kat wondered if it wasthe same alex she had just met "i think him and i have already met..."

Smith knew she had,alex smell was on her. "who knows,if you have met him though,he probably won't be too happy"
"like I said,he hates me so much that Im dead to him"
"aw im sorry" Katherine said looking at him.
"don't be. It's my fault that he hates me so you shouldn't be sorry. you Reap what you sow"
"umm yeah i guess..." Kat said sliding her hands next to her on the bench
"it's getting pretty late"he said getting up. "can I walk you home?"he asked
"yeah sure" Kathrine said smiling a little
he held out his hand to help her up,like a gentleman
Kat smiled at him and took his hand. "thanks"
"your welcome"he said,he helped her up and then they started walking home
Katherine walked down the street silently with Smith beside her
smith looked at katherine then somewhere else. the silence between them felt rather tence to him
"so you or your bother have a girlfriend?" she asked curious. not that she liked him, but she just wanted to know
"no,I don't know about him,probably not"he said
"i wonder why?" she asked herself outloud. Katherine thought they were both really cute though
"why would you want to know though?"he asked. "so you want to be my girlfriend?"he asked jokingly
"maybeee" she teased laughing. "im just a very curious person" Kat said smiling at him
smith laughed. "becareful. curiosity killed the cat"he told her
Kat laughed as they reached her house. she leaned against her outside door on her back, and looked at smith
"I guess,I should be going"he said turning to leave
She sighed. "i guess..." Kat said quietly watching him go.
