Fever series (only books 1-5)
Stormlight Archive
Redwall
Kate Daniels
Honorable mention: Mistborn era 1-2 (adding 3 and 4 to that once they're written)

1. Discworld
2. Malazan
3. Wheel of Time
Still have a lot of Realm of the Elderlings to read so might be worth swapping in so I have new material.
Also if a new Malazan book comes out does it get airdropped in?

2. Wheel Of Time
3. Drizzt
And I'm adding 3 happy books! Or two.
1. Red Rising (including the rest of Iron Gold Books)
2. A Court Of Thorns and Roses (including all new ones)
Red Rising- because I’d read it again
Something long, like Malazan. Because I’d forget the beginning before I got to the end and I could re read it like a new book
And maybe something more racy, for the lonely days.. so I’d try Jacqueline Carey again 😂

Stormlight would work for the 3rd, but it sure would be frustrating at three books. Maybe if Bill's airdropped idea worked.
Or I could simply say "Cosmere" and have it include all the Mistborn, Stormlight, etc.
Harry Potter would be one for me. I could keep reading those dozens of times (and have).
I can't decide on the others. Sanderson is definitely a contender. I second the air drop thing.
Maybe Hobb if I can take her entire Elderling saga.

I was going to say Sanderson but there are reasons at the moment.
I also think an owl could do some air drops 😉

People keep telling me to start with book 3 and it confuses my little brain 😕

Penthouse
Hustler"
For the articles?"
But of course. Tough crowd when none of the women laughed at it.
Soooooo
The Wheel of Time
Red Rising series
Stormlight Archives series
Serious enough for you ladies? hm hm? lol

1. Harry Potter (obviously)
2. Temeraire (because I need a series with dragons on the desert island)
3. The Wheel of Time or Malazan I can't decide (each of these books take me so long to read that either of these series will last me a long time)

My guilty pleasure, all of Sarah J Maas's books and series
The First Law trilogy
The Godling Chronicles

Okay good! I will start them that way when I get to them 😊

Yes, I'm crazy and no I don't care 😊

Well, it wouldn't be a deserted island anymore. Also I think we would do more than just read.....just my thoughts. lol

Yes, I'm crazy a..."
I just won my bet!! I knew you were going to say that 🤣😂

YES!!!! See, the women know what's what 😄

We can designate places on the island for physical buddy reads! It would be funny to see Iain and Choko carrying their mountains of books and jumping from read to read. LOL!!!

Maybe if there is some sort of area of the island, like a cave or rocky precipice that is dangerous to get to unless it’s low tide that I could build my hut?

You could build yourself a book igloo. People would have to read all of them to get to you.

What did you win? lol
lol Margret wants isolation in isolation island. My hut will be next to yours (that still counts as isolated from "people" right?) I'm not people.

Great efforts were being made to steer this convo in that direction....

I like high places, so I'll lay claim to a nice tree for my tree house.

Perhaps introvert island is more accurate. On second thought I may not be as deterred by this island full of people as I originally was.

J.j. I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't think anyone is code talking. We're literally discussing where to build a home on a fake deserted FBR island. (I'm not being sarcastic, I'm just confused).
I’m from a small island, so my island survival skills are top notch! I’m liking the idea of The Isle of Books we’re setting up here.
@yanique- I was just thinking how useful you would be..
-virologist
-island dweller
-gives good advice
-likely would know how to cook the local food and what indigenous plants would kill me

I want an acknowledgement 😄
