Jeanne (oldemill) | 204 comments Finished my first book for March, The Rhyme of the Magpie by Marty Wingate. Sorry that I didn't start this series sooner as I really liked the first one. These are likeable characters, realistic back stories, and pretty well plotted mystery. All in all I give it a thumbs up.

Well sort of. I read the first one, that I really liked but haven't gotten back to it. I got side tracked with Ellery Adams, Rhys Bowen, Lynn Cahoon, Kate Carlisle, and others. So this was really great as I had downloaded it to my kindle over a year and a half ago. Not sure which of the two I like better.

Reading two books from the series that's chosen is a goal - not an obligation. Have fun and read what you can. You can always try again the next month.

fyi - The serial challenge threads remain open. If it's older than six months, they are in the archive folder.
