It's a book about a boy escaping a city or something where medical advancement allows people to live to over hundreds of years, but people are somewhat sterile and there are very little children, so people rent children. There is this dolly dancer who was like, 120(?) years old and still dancing signboard, where she had an injection as a child to remain in a child's body forever.
