Kendra Cheese (kavy_g) | 3 comments I read this book about 4-5 years ago. It's one of those elementary school level novels. The story basically starts with a group of kids (I remember it being 2 girls but I'm not sure), and I'm pretty sure they were middle/high schoolers. Anyway, they want to solve a mystery that happened a long time ago: a high school was burned down on the night of prom and a boy died in the fire. The kids follow a series of clues (they interview people that went to the school, etc.) The last person that they interview is the girlfriend of the boy that died. The accident happened a long time ago, so she is in a nursing home when the kids come to visit her.

The plot for this book recently came to mind a few months ago, and I have been searching for it ever since. Thank you for the help!!

Kendra --
You've given some good details. This looks like an interesting book.
You can bump your book every month or so to keep this thread at the top of the folder. This lets new eyes see it and older eyes reflect on it again.
Good luck!
