SOLVED. YA romance set in space. [s]

This might not be much help but all I remember is a quiet teenage girl is in a spacestation, in space, with a bunch of other teens. I think they are all girls on her side. She doesn't talk much with the others. I remember she sits in a window at night all the time and stares at the stars. One night, there is a guy in an opposite window of the space station. I'm assuming thats the guy side. They communicate with words on paper but then eventually end up with each others codes or something that allow them to 'facetime' with their tablet. I can't remember if they meet in person. Maybe in the next book? I think the cover has a lot of space theme too.

2005 for sure. It was most likely around 2015-2017 i read it.
