Hi Tia!I finished a third pick...Bound
. It was cool to read something by Lorelei James that wasn't cowboy related, lol. I liked the book, thanks for the pick :)
Daffodil wrote: "Ramneek, Thanks for recommending

hi Daffodil - i finished listening to magic slays last night in the car - I think its my favorite in the series so far - I've already reserved bk 6 at the libary and can't wait to listen to it
Glad you enjoyed it! This is one of my favorite series, one I'll probably continue to buy in hardback because I just can't wait to read it.

Very 50 shades, older guy with lots of secrets and a kink, younger, sheltered girl. It was a quick read, I thought it was ok, but not great. It's gotten a lot of great reviews, so it could just be me. That's happened to me a lot lately, LOL.
that's what i've heard from lots of people - and also that it was supposedly broken into 2 parts? IDK - I haven't even read her last rough riders series because the last few have been disappoitning

This one leaves off with a cliffhanger. I really do prefer when a story wraps up in one book!
Daffodil wrote: "RamneekI finished another book last night. Loved

Sunshine,Ok, read my 5th pick
..I always forget how sweet Rose Gordon books are! Thanks again for the great picks!!
MountainKat, I finished two of your recs -
&
. I really loved Ain't she sweet though I had problems with the characters - it all happened in high school. They needed to grow up. I felt like the only person who had a right to hold a grudge was Colin after the way she treated him. But I really enjoyed it - loved the way how SEP had written Sugar Beth. Thanks for the picks, MK! I have a couple other of your picks on hand but I'm fitting them according to the challenges that I have to do.
I loved how SEP wrote Sugar Beth too! I think that was one of the best things about that book! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy the others too if you get to them!
Hi Joyce, I sort of finished another of your picks. I finished Outlander which Runell also picked for me in July. So I started it as her pick and finished it as yours! I liked it, but I especially liked the audio! I thought it wandered a bit much, but it was all interesting. I want to continue with the series, but I think it might take a while to work up the courage to start another audiobook even longer than the first one.

You're a reading machine. ;). You go girl...
Hi Beppy,I finished another of your picks for me and it was beyond excellent! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I certainly would.
What a great book!
MountainKat, I've finished my fourth pick this month -
and really liked it. Thanks so much for all the great picks!
Penney, I had the best on intentions this month :) but I still managed to get a few in.Conscious Decisions of the Heart was amazing! I loved it and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this series.
Sometimes You Just Know was good but it didn't quite have the emotional punch I was expecting.
I really wanted to like Trouble & the Wallflower more than I did. I have a feeling it was the narrator that I just didn't jive with.
Thanks for the picks!

Hi Suzanne. I finally got a chance to read one of my picks, [bookcover:Concealed in Death|18079757], today and it was great! I have a few others on hold at the library but I'm not sure they'll come in before the end of the month. Thanks for all the great picks though!

I finished my 4th pick:
last night, and while it was good, I felt like I didn't truly connect with the characters for some reason. It was the first time that happened to me in this series. Maybe because I have "known" them as long? I'm not sure.Anyway, I should be able to get to one more pick before the month is out!
Kait I managed to finish one of my picks!
is an AMAZING book! 5 stars! Loved it but it's very sad, too.
Karen ♐ Finished Pick #3 and #4
I really liked this book. I had read one Virgin River book before but I liked this one more. This was just a nice story with a HEA. 4 stars. I also finished
which I also liked. I may manage to sneak one more in this month but it is back to school tomorrow (sigh).
Jamie--I finished my 4th PIFM this month,
His Secondhand Wife, and liked it. Thanks for the recommendation.

I finished by fifth and final pick for the month and it's one that you recommended.
was a surprise for me. I was sure I liked either one of the main characters in the beginning of the book and it made it hard to get into. BUT, I'm a huge fan of SEP, so I persevered and they really grew on me. I loved the secondary characters as well, especially the kids. All in all, I had a good time reading it. I really wish we could revisit those characters again. I think that will be a book that I end up reading again. Thanks for the great recommendation!
Brett, thank you so much for your picks! Here's what I read this month. I've added everything else to my TBR. I enjoyed my books!!!☑ Stealing the Wind (8/11) ★★★★★
☑ Punch-Drunk Love (7/23) ★★★★
☑ Dirty Secret (8/19) ★★★★★
☑ Giving an Inch (7/29) ★★★½
Hi ShelbyWell, I finished one more
- listened to it on audiobook. I didn't like the narration, so I will probably read it as well. But I enjoyed the story. I'm also starting one more today -
but I probably won't finish it by the end of today.Great picks!!
MK, I managed to fit in another book, -
. The best thing about Milan books are the characters who do unusual things. The major drawback for this book was the female lead - she was wound too tight. It was understandable but it did affect my enjoyment a bit. But I'm definitely reading the next. Thanks for the push!!
hi, nancy hi wanted to let you know what i read this month. The Sea of Tranquility (5 stars, really enjoyed it), Julia's Chocolates (3.5 stars, enjoyed it), Grave Surprise (4 stars), Leather, Lace and Rock-n-Roll (1 star...uggh. don't get me started).
i'm reading Dancing at the Harvest Moon right now, and still plan to read The Windflower in the next couple of days.
Ramneek I started
, but didn't get it finished before the end of the month. I am, however, enjoying it. Thanks for all the great recommendations!

I've finished three of your recommendations in the last couple of days, and I enjoyed them all! Doe and the Wolf was just what I have come to expect from Eve Langlais - funny, a little silly, but just plain fun. Crave The Night was not my favorite of the series, but still very good, and really advanced the overall story. And BTW I Love You was just plain sweet! Thanks for the great recommendations - I'm going to try to get to more by the end of the month, but need to switch gears to my Meet & Greet books for a bit...
