Welcome all. Look forward (I hope) to a chatty team. Anyone have any BR possibilities, shall we try to get them done as a team?I'll try to post some of my options for February reading in the next day or so.
Checking in! c:I don't have a huge amount of BRs planned at the moment (just A Wrinkle in Time for the 2nd and The False Prince for the 9th) so I'm open to more at this stage c:

Checking in! This is my first time doing this and I'm excited!
Hi team 👋. Just checking in. I’m currently on my way home from a weekend away so once I’m there I’ll make a list of the books I would like to complete in February and post them on here😌.
How is everyone?
All checked in - think that's a first for any team I've been on for the challenges. Natalie, I saw you've set up a BR for
so I'll hop on that. I've got a bit of a backlog for NetGalley so want to try and see if any of them fit. Will try to join in BRs where I can as it's an easy way to pick up points.Currently hoping to try and look at some of these:
If anyone on the team has them and fancies a BR, they all need reading in February.
Okay so I’ve had a look at my shelves and if I’m being completely honest I’m struggling a little with this one. The only one I’ve chosen for definite so far is An Abundance of Katherines by John Green.
Ones I’d like to try and include if I can match them to any categories are:
The Cinder series by Marissa Meyer
The House of Silk and Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz
Carry on with the Harry Potter series (I’m on #3)
The Matched series (not sure who by)
Continue the Eragon series (Im on #2)
If anyone can help me out with categories for any of these I’d be much appreciated 😂♥️
im about to start planning i got a planner and all for this month lol
Elizabeth, the Cinder series you could get on romance/over 4 rating for book one - possibly books two and three - and book four has food on the cover.
The house of silk works for ‘begins with t’ and there’s an edition of moriarty that is mostly red that could work.Re Harry potter, look at covers and see if any feature the needed items.

okay these are ones ive choosen so far for the challenge and i want to read
as well but it wont count as i read it in may last year so hasnt been a year
I'm currently reading The Once and Future King INCREDIBLY SLOWLY (it's a pretty heavy read XD) so it will likely end up being finished in Feb/Mar. If I finish in Feb I should be able to use at least some of it towards the challenge, even if not the entire length of the book c:Would probably like to read these in Feb too (that match the challenge criteria):

Michael- I’ll wait to see what other books you post on your list because as you can see I’ve just signed myself up for a few😂 but it does look interesting and I’d like to:)
Oh and just a heads up Danni on team Chaos is crazy fast so we will have to bring out A game😉 we can do this!P.S. sorry for spamming you guys haha :)
So nice to have a team to chat with! This month was quiet...are there any particular dates that don’t work for anyone re the BRs? If not, I can request them through the month and we can hop in as available.Natalie is pretty quick, and I can be😏

I think I’m quick but I’m not😂 I have a few 12/13 hour shifts coming up at work but I will read on my break and after👌🏻 I’m gonna try my hardest to fit as many books in as possible.

i was going to start with theres someone in your house this week and go from there but if you need to grab copies i can hold off and we can do it when you get a copy :)
Dates requested as follows:- 4th People Like Us
- 8th The Toymakers
- 10th The Exact Opposite of Okay
- 14th The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock
- 20th They Both Die at the End
Can't wait to see what you think of them. Pleased that a few of my ARCs fit the challenge this time round.

Queen of hearts on the 6th and the Raven boys on the 12th? I’m trying to keep at least two days between each buddy to try and stay on track.
Do the rest of the Raven Boys series work for this challenge? As we could make it a series thread :)

I can’t get people like us or the exact opposite of okay but I’m fine to still do the other ones. Sorry I didn’t realise they were ARC’s :)
Not a problem. There were a few people set to do them, so should be good. The points will count for those we do...
So far I’ve got seven buddy reads and they’re all in the first two weeks of the month so I’ve still get plenty of time to fit more in😄
I think I'm a little confused on how this works, like for the challenges, say I wanted to read the merciless for the challenge "pink on the cover" and then someone joins in?
Hi Sydney. There’s a discussion thread called wanted:reading buddies. People in the group can agree to read books together and discuss as they read. These buddy reads get you double points for challenges so ver6 useful. Check out the planned February buddy reads section. There might be books you want to read-and most people will set up stuff to link to challenges.
okay i definitely understand now! so buddy reads dont have to be within this team?

They both die at the end is out"I can definitely read They Both Die at the End (found it at my library, and on the library app for my phone - yay!) but whether or not I can read The Toymakers depends on if I can get it. I didn't realise it was an ARC XD;;
