That does help a lot , thank you.
Emily I can swap it out for 2018 or book club as long as the original pick for horror doesn't get read :-)

Debra Barstad Finished Thaw was a good book.

I should be able to finish Mother Night by this evening but not sure if I will get another one done by noon tomorrow or not unless I move some books around and they are on the smaller size.

message 203: by Jill (new)

Jill | 725 comments I just finished What We Saw at Night. So that is the last of the four I committed to. I was hoping to be done sooner so I,could fit one more in but it doesn't look like I can make that work. It has been such fun being part of a team!

Michelle (girlvsbook) | 1173 comments I finished Bull which I didn't plan to read. But it works for the Mythology or Poetry, both of which I don't think we yet have. I'm going to keep reading tonight and see if I can get one more book in. Wish me luck!

message 208: by Debra (new)

message 209: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (sgiffin) | 146 comments Had to take a break from 'A Criminal Defense' because it's dragging real bad. I will finish it before noon though.

Instead, today I finished 'Wedded to the Warriors' and can understand why it's on some 1-star lists, but I actually didn't hate it. So, that's good.

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments Just being lazy in bed and finished Milk and Honey. That probably ruined my day. Will be updating soon. What are everyone’s plans for the day? What books are we trying to finish up?

Thanks Claire, it has no shelves so we can't use it for this challenge.

Michelle (girlvsbook) | 1173 comments Oh, how weird. I've never seen a book with no shelves. I don't think I will be able to finish another so I'm going to have to be content with my 3 books. I had so much fun reading with you guys this week and we should all be very proud. We pushed out a lot of books! All the teams did! We read over 150 books in a week across the challenge. That is fantastic!

Also, big thanks to Tracy for keeping us all organized this week. You're a rockstar.

message 218: by Jillian (new)

Jillian | 2924 comments I finished Allegiance/Susannah Sandlin 2/4/18. I have a little bit left of my other book and should be able to finish in time. So I will check back in again soon.

Aww... Thank you😊. It was fun to help out, even if I bungled a couple of days....BUT YES!!!!! we did awesome! You guys are all amazing. And I'm finishing up happy because somehow I managed to pull off 3 books in 3 days, after what looked like a disaster of a reading week for for me.

I'm done with reading for the challenge because I'm in Connecticut, so there is only about an hour left for me, but i literally rolled over in bed this morning, grabbed my kindle and finished off that last book before I let myself get up, lol.

I will be keeping an eye on posts for the day to see what everyone finishes up, I know quite a few of you read your pants off and are taking the day to recover. Thanks to everyone for playing along.

I have a little bit of shuffling to do with with the shelves, but we made it work!

Good Job BLUE TEAM!!!!!!!

Excellent job! I managed to read 4 books this week, which is definitely my record for most books in one week (by a considerable margin). Couldn't have done it without your support!

Jillian | 2924 comments I just finished A Sudden Light/Garth Stein 2/4/18. Great job, everyone!

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments Ladies!!!! There was a point during the week where we were pulling up the rear, and not that I'm spying or anything lol but I think we may have pulled to the front over the weekend. Theres still some time and all the counts aren't up but it's going to be close....

Everyone give a big THANK YOU to Claire and Debra for reading 11 and 13 books for our challenge = mind blown.

All of the teams did/are doing awesome 📚😊🎉

Lets just admit that almost everyone on all the teams has been checking......😩🙈

message 226: by Samantha (new)

Samantha (sgiffin) | 146 comments Sadly, I was not able to complete 'The Bat' :-/ Still have about 100 pages left. But I did complete 4 books, which is what I initially anticipated I could do, so I still feel pretty good.

This challenge was a bit tougher than I thought it's be when we first started, but I think Team Blue did a great job overall. Way to read, ya'll.

I can actually put it under 3-stars 😊

Debra - can you check your edition read? How many pages? I'm not sure if you linked to your exact edition or if you just linked to the first on the list......

message 230: by Tracy (last edited Feb 04, 2018 10:47AM) (new)

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments Going through the final list so far..... Not sure with time differences if there is anyone left to check in?

I've verified all of the shelves. The only one we had a problem with was Jackie Four, which initially I saw a handful of shelves for ( maybe 5?) but now no shelves at all are showing up, even though it is marked as currently-reading by several readers on GR. This is a default shelf so it should be listed. I posted the question on the Challenge page and got the go ahead from a mod, but may have to remove?

Double checking page counts now.

message 231: by Debra (new)
