Wow! The war is really heading up. (view spoiler) In the midst of all of this I am trying to figure out if I am finally seeing any cracks in Scarlett's personality? Is she finally growing up? Just when I think she is, she says or does something that makes me think of her from the beginning of the story.

The big question is if she will learn anything. I will admit I haven't been reading along but I just read this for the first time about 18 months ago, it's definitely stayed with me (but I will be doing a reread of certain parts).
